Room was great. It was a junior suite. View was amazing as it was a corner suite. But there is no hotel parking. There was parking opposite to the hotel but with no in-out privileges. Time square was one block away from the hotel. Location was ideal. Lots of restaurants around the area.

We had a junior suite. The room was dated and a little dirty. The furniture seemed old and a little worn. The staff and room service was excellent though.

DO NOT STAY!! My family stayed 4 days last week, AC did not work and there was a loud humming sound. I explained this to management and to make matters worst, they could not move us the first night and only offered breakfast vouchers (and a rude attitude) for compensation. We DID NOT get one day of good rest in the loud and hot room. They sent the engineer and he lowered our temperature to 60 and it NEVER DECREASED past 76 degrees. I have pictures of proof. Apparently, management knows about several faulty rooms as confirmed by the housekeeping. She stated that there are several defective rooms on our floor (floor 7) and mine was certainly one!! While the hotel is upscale, beautiful, with luxurious toiletries, the service was awful and my room was HOT and LOUD!

Definitely not five star. The other two hotels I stayed at in Times Square let me check in as soon as I got there around 11am-noon. They said they would contact me when the room was ready and nobody contacted me. I returned at 3pm and I checked in. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. There were no bathrobes or slippers in the room. They took over an hour to bring it up. The bathrobes they sent had holes in the sleeves. I got a junior suite and it was only on the 14th floor. The other hotels I was on the 48th floor and 31st floor. They had a sensor in room mini bar and snack bar which they charge $9usd for water. So I had no space to place my own food or drink in the fridge. I’m not sure why a supposed five star does not provide complimentary water. For a room that’s 550sq ft they didn’t have enough drawers or closets. The bathroom was also the smallest of three hotels I stayed with no tub. At 1030 am housekeeping was knocking at my door asking what time I’m checking out I told them 11am which was the check out time. So not only did they not let me check in early but they were wanting me to check out early too. This was definitely not five star. I would give it a 3 star and I’m being generous. It’s very convenient to the subway as the station was literally outside the hotel. I mainly took ubers while in nyc. Another note to add is my welcome text from the concierge came three hours later at 6pm. There were also no activities at the hotel like cocktail hour or live bands.

Pre-paid parking across the street is a bit tricky as they told me it was a "reduced rate" and not a fully paid. The night person at the front desk told me this wasn't true, but offered no tangible solution. I brought this up with the morning desk person at checkout and they were surprised nobody had validated my parking ticket (or told me this was necessary) the night we checked in to the hotel. Also, because we could not get two interconnected rooms on the floor our room rate applied to, we were downgraded to a 7th floor pair of rooms. While this didn't cause any issues, I was surprised they did not offer to refund or give us a hotel credit for the cost difference. Was told to take this up with Expedia. All-in-all the property was very nice and convenient to all the midtown attractions. As this was our families first trip to New York it was very much a learning experience.

My family enjoyed our stay very much. It was a very hot couple of days, so the coolness of the lobby and our room helped us get up the energy for our next adventure. When asked for a room with a view for our teenage daughters who had never been to NYC, we were happily accommodated to the 29th floor. :)
