Great location, property , room! My kid thought it was super cool and I loved the value for the price.

I like to stay here when i came with my family! It was the second time! It’s a really small room for the price but it’s closer to the points to visit. The guy on the reception its very rude and disrespectful David R. In the firt time and this time either. He talks and look like you with “a” look. Hate it . Its the last time!!

My room was immaculately clean and the staff super-friendly and responsible. In fact I liked the hotel so much I’ve already rebooked for another trip. BUT the Times Square area has a large number of homeless people who frequently approach you for money and/or simply scream for no apparent reason. This drastically increases the sense of danger and vulnerability. If a family member did not live in the area I would not overnight in this area.

We were in town to see "Hamilton". Short walking distance to the Rogers Theater. Great location overall, and decently priced. Friendly staff. Tiny rooms, so possibly not the best option of you travel with kids. The mattress seemed a bit shorter than standard queen size.

I have stayed at the Pod Times Square three times and have been very happy with our stay. I have recommended it to family members who have also been happy.

Liked: nice staff, clean room, just enough space for me, lower price, travel on a budget, good location, variety of nearby restaurants and stores, quiet, high floor, daily cleaning of room, fast easy checkout, could not hear neighbors, heater was on point, good spacious shower, very comfortable bed, nice power outlets, the closet works though small. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I will return in the Spring and bring my family.
Dislikes: restaurant closed without notice (permanently), didn't get to use my bar drink coupon, small sink - hard to wash face.

I was kinda not sure at first after reading the different reviews but I took my chances. I just needed to stay for one night because of an event I had to attend. The checking in process was fast and the representative was very polite. I asked her where could I grab a cab when I’m ready to go to my event & she was very polite in explaining. From traveling from Upstate New York I forgot a lot about getting around in the city. The room was a bit small but cozy and clean for just one night and was only me. I was all the way on the 22nd floor which I’m afraid of heights but eventually I’ve gotten used to it. The view was amazing. I’ll def stay at the POD again whenever I have another engagement in the city. The price was not bad either, was affordable and like 5mins from The Port Authority Bus Station, within walking distance. Very convenient. I’ll def tell friends and family about it.

We stayed at Pod 51 a few years ago because it was in a neighborhood close to family, and enjoyed the concept of an affordable place to sleep with the amenities of a "big space" accommodation. We chose Pod Times Square this time because our agenda included a Broadway show, and other things to do either by
walking or riding the bus. Highly recommend for two travelers.

Was in NY for family get together. The room was small but nice and clean. The only issue was the shower..The first night, there was NO hot water..i called front desk and said would send someone up and they never did.
The rest of the time, the water was barely warm. The location, price and the security of entering hotel was on point. I would stay again for that reason. You're close to just about everything you want to see or do.

Just spent 5 nights over New Year’s Eve in a bunk pod room on the 20th floor. I was recommended to stay by a family member, and I was more than pleased for my first stay! The price & fees are right for the location on 42nd St (usually I prefer to be in upper Times Square closer to Central Park). While the bunk pod room is quite small and narrow, my friend and I made it work. The bunk ladder is removable if you need more floor space to maneuver around. Appreciated all the hooks on the walls, and the plugs for each bunk. The bottom bunk had a dimmer switch too. Bathroom is tiny but efficient with a generous sized shower stall. I already booked my next stay at Pod Times Square!
