Hotel Scherman

A lovely family run property, with wonderful caring staff. Very friendly, and always at hand to assist. Very safe. I had left my elderly mother at the hotel whilst I went out. Informed the staff and they were extremely happy to look out for her. I will definitely be coming back towards the end of year. I highly recommend the property

Celebrating bday with family. This is such a wonderful hotel. Fantastic staff, darling rooms with fridge, ice, coffee maker, silverware, plates, the complimentary breakfast, perfect location to see shows, on restaurant row. I can’t say enough good things about Hotel Scherman. 10/10 recommend!!

The hotel is fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and the attached restaurant is great. My family and I highly recommend it and we will be visiting them again.

Staff was friendly was helpful, both before the stay when helping with online accommodations, and during the stay. Penthouse was perfect layout for my family of 4 and the terrace is a great bonus. Can't beat the combination of quality and location. Will stay again.

Our family of 5 (3 teen/young adult kids) stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom hotel room and could not have been happier with it. From the space to spread out to the convenience of the fridge and coffee maker to the amazing balcony and rooftop patio to the incredible, friendly and welcoming staff, we loved everything about our stay. Fantastic location, great room, wonderful people. We will be back for sure!!

We booked the spacious penthouse room which was perfect for our family of four and good value for NYC. The private terrace was great though we also used the rooftop terrace with other guests and really enjoyed that too. The hotel staff were very accommodating for our needs and we were grateful for the bottled water and tea and coffee that were replenished daily. The free breakfast was good with juices, fresh bagels, croissants, fruit, etc. We found the beds very supportive and comfortable. The toilet seat was loose and moved noisily when used but otherwise we had a perfect stay in this “ home away from home”. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

We could not have asked for a better hotel! The location was so perfect, my family joked that everything was .3 miles from what we wanted to do and as an added bonus just downstairs were wonderful places to eat if you didnt feel like going anywhere. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and employees were kind and helpful.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Hotel Scherman! The check-in process was super easy. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable! Very easy to get around the city from the hotel. There is a subway station close by, lots of places to eat, and within walking distance to Times Square. I would definitely stay here again! :)

LOVE this hotel for a family trip to see Hamilton. Two blocks from the theater and 10+ amazing restaurants right out the front door. The room was more spacious than most in NYC, and the roof deck was an incredible bonus. The continental breakfast was ample (unless you're gluten free), with a selection of pastries, breads, cereals, jams, Nutella, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juices and milk. We were on the street side on the 2nd floor during fleet week and weren't bothered by street noise. The STAFF was amazing and friendly. It's not the newest or fanciest hotel on the block, but charming, clean, and comfortable. We would stay here every time for the location, the roof deck, and the staff.

Great hidden find in Hells Kitchen area. Rooms were great offering 2 queens vs 2 full size beds at most other hotels. Perfect for our family of 4.
