The Hotel Chelsea

I needed a hotel close to where my kids live and booked Hotel Chelsea for practical reasons more than anything else. Boy, was I in for a big surprise!!! This hotel has everything you would want, decor is amazing, great restaurants and bars, and more importantly the room I was in was super comfortable and very well decorated. The service was impeccable. The hotel vibe is so cool. We had an amazing dinner at the Spanish restaurant. The front desk staff was pleasant and super helpful. If I can make only one suggestion would be for the Lobby Bar staff to be more welcoming. Overall just a great stay! I will definitely be back!!!

We brought our oldest child for her 10th birthday and could not say enough fantastic things about the hotel, customer service and location. I read so many (positive) reviews leading up to our stay and they all lived up to the hype. The new gym was a highlight for me, beautiful space. The size of our room was a wonderful bonus, so nice to spread out. Everything was a 10+

Former NYer who travels up to the city quite a bit for business as well as visiting family. My go to hotel had always been The Hyatt Union Sq until my last stay back In Oct and was not happy as it has gone down hill since Covid. Since then I’ve been bouncing around trying different boutique style hotels. Well bounce no more. The Hotel Chelsea is by far the greatest coolest hippest hotel I have stayed in a very very long time. The minute you walk in you realize this hotel is some place special. From the people who welcome you at the front door to the people at the front desk the service is second to none. My room was ginormous which is a rarity in most hotels in NYC. The room decor is antique style but with all the modern amenities. How nice it was to get out of bed to step on a rug and not a cold wooden or tile floor. The bathroom was also fairly large with a huge shower. The only complaint if I have to find one is the rooms are dark but it’s all apart of the ambiance they have tried to create for you.during the day I opened the electric window treatments and there was sunlight galore. almost felt like I was in a Parisian Hotel. Seriously I cannot say enough about this gem of a hotel. It will absolutely be my go to anytime I have to be in NYC.
