We booked three rooms through hotels.com. For the price we were very disappointed in the size of the room and the fact that the sink was outside the bathroom. No dressers and no closet and to top it off the walls are really thin. The man in the room next door was screaming profanities at his kids at 11 pm. When we complained the next morning and asked for some kind of credit as we couldn't sleep well and were woken up the front desk staff said they couldn't do anything. We are Hilton Honors members and expect better. And what's with the fake "resort fee". We won't be returning to this hotel

This could have been a perfect stay. The staff was so excellent…friendly, courteous and respectful. However, on our second day we were subjected to two families sharing two rooms beside us and allowing their kids to run up and down the hall and constantly slam their doors over and over again. The walls are pretty thin to begin with so this was super loud and disturbing. That evening while showering for dinner, the top fell off the shower head. So there’s that. We did have an especially nice time at the hotel bar our 1st evening. The bartender was really nice and super friendly. Check-in and out were a breeze. The bill was perfect. No surprise charges. Exactly as quoted. Thank you!

This hotel is the ideal location to all the main NYC attractions. It is in a really calm area with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. It is finished to a high standard. And when you first walk in the smell is divine. We were travelling as a family of 4 and anticipated the room to be small as is the case in majority of NYC hotels. However it is REALLY small and in my opinion not appropriate for more than 2 people. The hotel is very modern and the room has lots of space saving qualities - 1 being the sink from the bathroom is in the room not the bathroom. Initially this is cute however it is completely impractical with more than 2 people. We had reserved a room for 4 yet only 3 bath towels were in the room. I requested another, but it never arrived. A bit annoying. I was aware that a $30 location charge would be added to the daily bill after the main charge, however on arrival this became $100 per day as a deposit. This was frustrating as I wasn’t aware and hadn’t read it anywhere. Granted we received one $10 voucher per day for the restaurant/ bar - both lovely. Typically high NYC hotel prices but atmospheric, helpful staff, beautiful food absolutely worth it. We received $75 per day back, once we had checked out and this cleared on my card by the time we landed home. Staff were really friendly, bottles of water provided per day at reception. I would stay here again as a couple but a family would need to consider more than 1 room.

Fantastic, vibrant atmosphere, great location, friendly staff and fabulous food. Love this hotel and would gladly go back if in NY again. Good value for money and very clean. Rooms a little small (as city hotels can be) and lack some wardrobe space for clothes in particular but decor is in good condition and well styled. Beds were comfortable and facilities worked well. WiFi connection was strong everywhere in the hotel and a small but sufficient fitness area on 4th floor. Didn't have enough towels for some reason (kept getting 3 towels for 4 of us) but very clean and well maintained rooms each day. Highly recommend for families, couples or business. 23rd St Subway station is walking distance away too.

We stayed 6 nights at this hotel, two adults and two kids (7 and 9). We appreciated the convenient location, the clean facilities, thoughtful design of the room to optimize the small space. The few times that we called the front desk for service (like some new towels), we were surprised by quickly a staff person would deliver the item to the room. Would definitely recommend for families traveling to NYC.

Nice hotel. Location in between lots of places. Unfortunately local subway didn’t seem to have a lift for stroller. Was a bit confusing on booking as to whether breakfast was included as didn’t seem to say anywhere (it wasn’t) and because we had a baby (just under 2) we just wanted a cot in the room but ended up booking 2 double beds. Turned out we didn’t need to. Air con seemed dodgy too either too drafty or too stuffy and made a right noise. All in all good hotel. Good nyc experience.
