Chelsea Savoy Hotel

We had a girls' family trip to NYC and chose to stay in the Chelsea Savoy Hotel. We got 2 rooms and both rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable.

Clean, accessible to transportation, nice, breakfast area, polite staff, boutique style vibe, family friendly . Wield definitely stay there again.

The hotel is superbly located on the corner of 23rd street and 7th avenue, right next to the subway entrances and local dinings/fast food. The hotel is close to many interesting places that can be reached on foot (i.e. Times Square about 20 minutes, Friends studio max 15 min). The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful, both the people at the reception and those preparing breakfast and cleaning staff. The rooms are comfortable, of normal size - our room had two large beds where we could easily fit with two children. There is heating/air conditioning. The bathroom with a bathtub with shower.The furniture and decor is quite old but it is clean, so we did not need more. The room has a tiny refrigerator and a desk with a chair. For breakfast ( served only from 8-10 am) there are only bagels and huge muffins in various flavors, butter, Philadelphia cheese and various jams. Of beverages there is coffee, tea, water and cocoa. There is also a microwave in the dining room so you can heat up something during the day or in the evening. We enjoyed staying at this hotel - not excellent but very nice standard and the price was reasonable as well. Special greetings for Polish staff:)

Every single person working at the hotel was so friendly and accommodating! The hotel is within walking distance to anything and everything for a fun NYC trip! It was clean, room was nice and spacious, and my family loved the fresh pastries for the breakfast served. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Due yourself and your family a favor. Stop looking and just book!!! Rooms are large, clean and affordable. Staff friendly and helpful. Coffee, bagels and muffins every morning. Close to many train stations and destinations. It’s everything you need to have a great time vacationing in NYC.

Traveling with kids and wanted a budget friendly hotel. This was a good choice, very centrally located with great access to the subway. We enjoyed complimentary bagels and muffins each morning. The staff was particularly friendly and the beds were comfortable. There was a woman who worked at the front desk with blonde hair who was really kind and helpful. Thanks for a good NYC experience!

Very well positioned in central Manhattan. Right next to the Red Line subway station leading up and down Manhattan. In the room we had for a family of four, additional Shelving would have been much appreciated to stack our suit cases and other personal items. We would recommend adding a shelving unit of 5 feet wide with 3 shelves high. Additionally, an additional closet should be installed right next to these shelves. The space is right there for these items as there is a long wall with nothing on it. Additionally, we were disappointed with the breakfast provided. All there was, were bagels, muffins, coffee and water. We were expecting more choice such as orange juice, bananas, some fruit like apples, oranges, water mellon as well as toast and cereal.

This is our 3rd time staying there. Eva and her staff truly treat you like family, safe neighborhood, close to subways, MSG, Chelsea market.

Stayed here for 1 week, family of 4. Everything was excellent - highly recommended. Subway station just around the corner, perfect for getting around the city.
