We chose this hotel as a family with 2 children because there were still affordable rooms for 4 in the week around Memorial Day. We were prepared by the other reviews that the rooms are really small for 4 people, that breakfast is very crowded on the weekends and that you sometimes have to wait a few minutes for the elevator. However, we didn't find this to be a problem. The team at the reception and at the breakfast was very friendly and quick. And the elevators were also operated by the staff when there was a deadlock because all the waiting guests were constantly pressing all the buttons. However, it's also fun to walk down the 28 floors. The location is ideal. Only 1 minute to the Metro and you can reach any station in Manhattan within 20 minutes. The neighborhood consists of restaurants and flower stores. Shops for snacks and drinks are one street away. We had a room on the 28th floor with a view of the Empire State Building. This was great, especially in the evening when the buildings are illuminated. We used the airport service and our luggage was safely stored in the hotel until the evening. However, the shuttle bus was old and dirty. The driver probably expected more tip than the 10$ I gave and left angrily without saying goodbye. I would take an Uber next time which is a similar price. Overall, I can only recommend this hotel. If you have higher expectations you should probably look for a hotel in Manhattan at a higher price.

We stayed here in May 2024 and had a lovely stay. The family room was small for 4 to stay but we managed for a week. Theres nowhere to store luggage or clothes really for a family. It was very clean and we were on the 45th floor so had and amazing view. Breakfast was efficiently run and regularly restocked. Staff were all very pleasant. Its located close to a subway station so ideal. Overall I would stay here again and I would recommend it to friends/fanily.

Excellent hotel. Really kind staff and very welcoming. We had the best time in New York thanks to the location and our stay in Springhill suites. We arrived really early 6am after our flight to drop our bags, but we were so lucky a room was available for us, so got some sleep and showered before the rest of the day. This helped our family immensely (especially with 2 young kids), so thank you very much.

Although the hotel’s location is excellent, it has plenty of landscaping shops right next which makes it a nightmare to catch a taxi/uber. The rooms are the smallest ones I have been in (not even in Europe have I seen such thing for $400 a night). A/C is noisy and it stopped working on the last two days of my stay (with 90 degrees outside). Two technicians were unable to fix it. Only 4 elevators for a 40 story building makes it a hassle to get up or down. We stayed there with other 3 families and we all agree to never return.
