We were staying in Ameritania for 2 nights, we loved it.
It’s right in the middle of Manhatten, just 10m walk from Central Park, 7m walk from Timesquare, and just on the subway station.
The hotel’s staff is so friendly, and upgraded us to a quiet room due to our ask.
Also, the hotel has a very good gym with everything you need. And they serve free coffee at mornings, and free fruits 24/7 at the lobby.
Also have happy hour where they serve free wine at the hotel’s bar, everyday between 5PM-6PM.
We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
It’s expensive, but the value for money is just perfect.

Wonderful experience that exceeded expectations, especially for a NYC hotel. Great location, clean and very comfortable beds. We will definitely be back and have already told friends and family how great it was.

Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to help. From the concierge, the front desk, the doorman, the housekeeping. Very very accommodating. I’ll give it a 10 out of 10, and we’ll tell all my friends and family.

Chose this for location and reviews. Historical building. I spent handsomely on this hotel. On arrival garbage was piled up in front of the building, drunks sleeping on it, and because of cranes and construction equipment in front, we could not be dropped off directly in front by our Uber so my young (12) daughter had to help carry heavy suitcases across the street, past the drunks, and up the stairs.
When checking in, my card was taken out of my hand and swiped and charged for 4 nights, at which point I was asked to sign and an initial I agree to pay that. I refused and was charged anyway. We stayed one night as it was midnight and had nowhere else to go. When we go to the room there was a note on the table from the manager sayin we may not open the blinds due to construction. There were holes in the drapery and room in very poor condition. The jackhammers started at 6am. When I checked out I spoke with the manager and asked why we weren’t advised of the situation before we booked the room. She said she didn’t have to because they weren’t the ones doing it, and that like New Yorkers, you just get used to it. I didn’t come to NY to spend 4 days on vacation getting used to a horrible situation that cost me a lot of money. I did not get my money back like she promised, but had to borrow from friends and family to get a different room elsewhere, so I could take my daughter to the shows I had promised. DON’T STAY HERE.

This was one of the best stays I have had in New York. The room was nice and clean and had enough room (bigger than I would expect in New York). My family had a great time. The staff are really attentive and caring. We will definitely be back.

I slept like a comfortable little newborn in my room. Think about that as you think about how busy NYC is. When I woke up I was right in the middle of the action.

Shout-out for excellent service from Majid on the front-desk. i indicated to him on the day of our arrival that our assigned room was smaller than what we expected and what was advertised on the Hotels.com site. Majid arranged for us to transfer into a better, larger room on the second night of our stay. In addition, when we had to leave earlier than our intended stay due to a family emergency, other front-desk staff were very accommodating and coordinated our early exit with the Hotels.com staff

Staff was so helpful! Especially when it came to carrying my baby’s stroller up the few steps of the entrance :) Parking was easy, they pointed me to a garage close by that had a discount for hotel guests— a major plus when staying in nyc! Great experience overall, would be happy to stay here again.

Terrible parking situation. Not safe and unwelcoming for families. Do not come here if driving your own vehicle or with family.

This boutique hotel is located in a great spot located very close to Times Square. The property is on West 54th Street and Broadway close to the theater district as well. The staff was very friendly and professional and they were very accommodating with requests. The rooms are a bit small but for a couple or a family of three, it is fine.
