Hampton Inn Times Square North

Hotel was overrun with tourists, families, large groups, and flight crew, which made the lobby feel chaotic and anything but relaxed.

Staying with family and friends (4 total) so we needed 3 beds. Asked at the time of booking for a roll-away in addition to the 2 queen beds. The hotel responded with a price of $30 and that they would attempt to accommodate pending availability. When I got there, they told me they weren’t allowed to put a rollaway in the room because of fire codes since we already had two beds. Why didn’t they tell us that when we booked it?!?! Thought we had breakfast included but again once we got there told No. In the room, they didn’t even have 4 towels in the bathroom. They did give us extra pillows and duvet so that we could make a makeshift bed on the floor. Sink in the bathroom drained VERY slowly.

Nice hotel. Clean. Updated. The two queen beds were very comfy. Quiet. Slept like a baby. Parking. Great location to attend broadway shows are time square. Will return again.

We took a trip to New York last week just my daughter and I. The family was a little bit nervous about us going out on our own, but we are planners and felt very comfortable navigating. From lower Manhattan to the Bronx. The hotel was perfectly placed for accessing the subway system and doing all of the things that we had planned. The staff was absolutely amazing. From the room service to the front desk to the doormen. Eugene and Albert were at the front door when we needed to leave our bags on the last day and they had been so accommodating and the entire time we were there. I went down to the café every morning and the staff there was fantastic. They make really great coffee and are always smiling and bantering with one another. I loved just sitting there listening to them. It was quintessential New York. I would definitely stay at Romer again. The first night our room was a little humid and did not seem to be cooling off, they immediately switched our room and we were very comfortable the entire rest of the week. I loved the layout, location, and feel of this hotel and I am so grateful that our mother daughter trip could be even more successful thanks to them.

Not convenient for families. We did not like our stay. Very well located(saving on transportation)

Excellent location, walkable to all tourists spots and subway connections. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Rooms are very spacious for NY standards. We were here during a heat wave and hotel was providing complimentary water to guests at lobby. For a family of four we loved that the beds are queen size not your smaller double size. One issue was that one of two elevators was down, sometimes the wait time was a bit. Will definitely come back again.

Everything was wonderful except the rooms were hot at times .But me and my family had a wonderful time and experience.This place is definitely as advertised .❤️❤️

Everything was great. We were a family of four and perfectly located for shows, park, transport, etc. Only thing to note is that there is no electric vehicle charger at the parking connected to the hotel (and you cannot bring your car in & out).

We've been to NY many times before and usually like staying in Hell's Kitchen area for its convenience to both transit, walking to theaters, and running in Central Park. Our room was great for a family with a teenager. The AC was a bit noisy but that probably helped with the traffic on 8th Avenue. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Amazing Gem of a hotel steps from Times Square. Room was cozy and fun with the view down on 8th Ave. (complete with Sirens and street noise) Staff were friendly in every aspect Great service in the cafe also. Overall great experience with the family.
