Our first time at The Ludlow, we absolutely loved it and would definitely return. So many hotel choices in NYC that it’s overwhelming. I did a lot of research and one reason we chose Ludlow because of bed sizes, so many NYC rooms have 2 full beds (not queens) which is not comfortable for a family of 4. We chose the room with king bed and separate queen bed which worked perfectly for bringing our daughters. A little bit of a splurge for us but less expensive than two rooms and the high quality finishes and big beds made it worth it. Friendly staff upon check in, lovely property with timeless design. Our room was fantastic, not huge but for NY actually roomy. Gorgeous large bathroom, real brass fixtures and quality amenities. Beds were so comfortable and luxe linens. House keeping did a great job and we appreciated coming back to a tidy room when we were out exploring all day. Great location for us, a lot to walk to and a nearby subway. I enjoyed being in the lower east side, still feels very old NY and not corporate. You can’t beat being across the street from Katz deli! Oh yeah great high end small gym too. We will be back for sure!

Great neighbour for eating out like the Italian and Chinese villagers. For a family of two I found the room extremely small . Also compared to the empire hotel which we will stay at in 2 weeks time I found Ludlow unjustifiably expensive

We always try to stay at The Ludlow. It’s cool, comfy, hip, sometimes you see celebs in the lobby. We love the style of the rooms and when we travel with our kids, we love the “Ludlow double” rooms which are the best suites we have found in NYC. Book those early because they see out.

Stayed here with my family 4 days in June. This is the 7th time I visit The Ludlow since 2015. Always very service minded staff. Great location, near bars and restaurants. Although never been disturbed by sounds of the surroundings. We had a minor incident and the daytime staff took care of it swiftly without complaints an we felt very pampered. Also.. the atmosphere and design of The Ludlow is still very updated and it hasn't been worn and torn during the years.
