We loved our stay here. We are a family of four. The room was tiny, but clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was amazing to have one less meal to worry about. We used the workout gym and spent some time in the lobby. We were also there one night for the free happy hour from 5-6. We do not drink but enjoyed non-alcoholic drinks. The location was perfect, there was a parking lot around the corner on 9th, that I had found on Spothero. We walked to a show one night and were very happy not to be in Times Square. We would stay there again.

Great property! Convenient to Times Square and Penn Station. Restaurant row at top of street so plenty of places to walk and eat and we felt safe. The property is lovely with a great vibe. For NY I found the room with 2 queen beds to be enough space for my family of 4. There is a small couch and cubby to hang clothes, I did not see this in any pics and comments. The staff was GREAT, very helpful! We needed them to check our air they had it fixed within 15 min. We requested extra pillows and they had them sent to us by that evening. Breakfast area is very spacious and a good selection. The concierge arranged our shuttle for the airport and they had live entertainment at various times. They do offer a happy hour with complimentary drinks but we were not in for that. Just an awesome stay in NYC.

Staff were friendly and polite. Room and building was clean (except the lifts - which had threadbare dirty carpets).
Ventilation in room was noisy and kept me awake. (Reported and required a contractor to be booked). Bathroom fan noisy and sounded like it was about to break. Bathroom positioned badly, to access had to sidestep along bottom of bed. Could've easily been where the TV was, which wasn't in a good place to see it either! Designed badly.
Not much choice of food at breakfast, no chopped fresh fruit or yoghurt, only 3 hot items (scrambled egg, cubed potato and sliced spicy sausage!). Better variety and choice at Holiday Inn!!
And I felt like I was on a picnic with throw away paper plates, plastic cups and plastic cutlery that was child sized!!
The overcrowding was bad too, even at 7.30am! I had to sit in reception and balance holding and eating my cereal!
When I gave my feedback/complaint to reception, they apologised but said it was a new hotel and they didn't have enough staff.
They couldn't compensate me for no sleep and everything else as I booked through Expedia.

I have found my hotel in NYC…I’m not looking any more.. this is it for me and my family. Anytime we visit NYC, we will stay here. This hotel is very close to EVERYTHING, I saved so much on Uber rides by just walking to major attractions. The breakfast is from 6:30am to 11am, which is unheard of and the options are delicious.
Please do not drink the16oz $6 water bottle in your room, instead, walk to 711, which is less than 5 minutes walk and buy yourselves all the water you need. The rooms are small as expected in NYC, but they smell so nice, no funky smell at all. I love everything about this hotel. Like I said, I have found ‘my hotel’ in NYC. Thanks so much.

The staff worked as a team and were very helpful. Breakfast was quite busy but the team was always on top of keeping the items refilled and the area clean as there can be a lot of spills with the numbers they contend with on a daily basis.
There is a daily "Welcome Hour" at the bar and the servers were all friendly and efficient.
A coin operated laundry was small but clean and well maintained.
There is also a good-sized gym that was clean and well-equipped.
This was a great find very near Times Square and good for family, business, or tourists.

I usually don't do reviews but felt like this needs to be the exception. We absolutely loved our stay at SpringHill Suites in Manhattan! First the service was impecable, the rooms were serviced better than any place we've been in years! We weren't expecting daily cleaning but got it. One day we came back with our bed made and some of the clothes on the bed folded neatly. Incredibly clean. I loved our little loveseat couch! The coffee supplies were all re-stocked each day. The breakfast was amazing and LOVED that it was open until 11am! Then there is the vibe - wow. It felt like a luxury youth hostel vibe with young but professional adults from all over the world as well as families. Not stuffy but still professional/family crowd. The main lobby in the evening was this great, fun space of people from everywhere. I usually do NOT like staying in the Times Square area of NYC, but needed to be near an event. This would be the exception, if what I said resonates with you - book this place! The ONLY negative is that there was a "taxi" guy in the lobby and we needed a ride about ride not far away (probably $15 at most with tip), while we were driving he said it would be $40! We had to negotiate the rate while driving. They are used to gouging tourists. The Front Desk may not have known, but it was a scam.

Standard room, it was clean, seemed renovated lately and the staff courteous.
Not a nice view from the room: dark construction site in Hell’s Kitchen. Hotel Close to Time Square, Madison Sq Garden and bus station.
I was there just one night (Saturday).
The place was a jungle all the time with people in and out and about in the relatively small lobby at all times.
Breakfast contents ok, but with people eating everywhere you can imagine and staff trying to replenish to the guests’s frenzy. I felt sorry for the employees.
A lot of Rude noisy people graving food with their own hands and parents leaving their children grab food whatever way and having breakfast in front of their iPads at very high volume. Mostly all guests had to share tables with other families to have breakfast. So breakfast at this hotel: not a good experience.
Check in and check out were fast, though People doing their check out leave bags on hold everywhere in the relatively small hotel lobby waiting to pick up later in the day.
The price was good at time of booking, considering it included breakfast, and that probably added to the extremely high volume of people staying there.
I would stay another time in this hotel just because the room was clean and only if price is good, but I would not go to breakfast there again.

The guy that checked us in was great. Parking was aweful drove across the island to find a garage that was closed had to find a new parking garage last minute and walk forever back to the hotel. We got the hotel and the air conditioning was broken. We called right away and they came 4 hours later at 3 am and it was oppressive. Had to sleep with the hotel door open to get a draft of air. When coming back to see what our new room was rather then just giving us a new key since we had kids that only got 2 hours of sleep, we had to wait in a 45 minute check in line. It was rough.

One week in NYC with family. Rooms was very small and 'city view' was one window to the courtyard. Big problem was lack of storage space and we have to keep our clothes etc. in luggages. And there were no room for open luggages... aircpnditoon was also quit poor, after shower whole room was quite moist. Cleaning time was between 8am and 6pm...Breakfast was quite simple. Stuff was friendly but rooms (we had 3) were lousy. This was our 10th trip ti NYC... maybe some other hotel next time.

Overall Average
Rooms very tiny if you are traveling with family
We stayed for 4 days and No room cleaning service which was totally odd - you say that due to COVID you are not doing room service but your entire staff was without mask
No proper parking instructions
