RIU Plaza Manhattan Times Square

Excellent hotel 30secs from Times Square. Beds super comfy!family room suited 3 adults and 2 children

Visited during the 4th of July. Hotel was perfect for our trip with a family of 4

We stayed here on a short trip to NYC with two adults and two kids. We found the hotel to be clean, professional and comfortable. Despite the location, we didn't have any issues with noise. As an NYC hotel room, of course it was on the smaller side, but I found it to be plenty comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again on a similar trip.

Staff was friendly, accommodating to our elderly disabled family member, and hotel room was very comfortable and provided a safe place for a good night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel had excellent staff and was very clean. Very family friendly environment.

I would give my stay a 9/10, everything was fantastic but it was so busy! The elevator was packed full every morning, it was bizarre considering where we were in 2019. However, the staff, (most have been there since the pandemic) they are what make the place so special. Everything is done efficiently and I believe that is why the hotel remains busy throughout the day. This is the place to stay, in a very convenient location and a welcoming atmosphere, will be staying here again (and not getting breakfast, it was too packed to feel comfortable eating alone but perfect for families!),

Hotel is nice and rooms comfortable. However, I had reserved the RIU on 47th Street in the middle of Time Square. Upon our arrival late at night with heavy suitcases, the receptionist first tried to make me believe that I had the address wrong and was supposed to go to their other location on 46th street and 8th Avenue. When I insisted that I had the correct address, another receptionist admitted that they were overbooked and just moved my reservation in the other property with no compensation whatsoever. I had to walk with 2 kids and huge suitcases to the other hotel which is not located in a nice area like the 47th street and there, again, I was told that I had no choice than staying there if I wanted a room. This was not acceptable in itself and not offering any kind of compensation shows very poor customer service. Will not return.

We loved the hotel for its new space, Great location and complimentary breakfast for 2 , (we were 3, we had a kid we were hoping we can for the 3 of us.)

SO disappointed! I flew in from California and tried checking in at the hotel straight from the airport- it happened to be at 12:30am.. they DID NOT HAVE A ROOM to accommodate myself or my 3 children!!! Like, WHAT?! A staff member WALKED myself and my 3 kids down to a “sister” hotel that was a mile away at 1AM. Literally, the middle of the night with my kids. AND they STILL CHARGED ME

Great staff and location. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with family.
