Stay away from this hotel. Rooms are tiny and not too clean. To make things worse, our room had a noisy malfunctioning AC. We arrived late at nite with 2 kids, and the room had not been cleaned and the AC was not working. The room was at close to 80 degrees, and the answer we got that was the hotel was full and we could not get another room…and that the AC would start working eventually. After 2 hours sitting in a room with 2 toddlers that felt like an oven, the technician confirmed what we had been saying all along. That the AC was not working! By that time…close to midnight, they magically found many rooms. First one that smelled like a chimney which we did not take and finally we were moved another time. Not even an apology. They offered us free coffee and removing those new “destination fees”. What a joke. The manager, Frank Lubner, a guy who does not know how treat people literally laughed at our faces, when I told him that the hotel had no problem asking 2 young toddlers to wait for hours in a small room with windows closed and no AC. For some reason they also kept asking us where we were from as if that was a factor. After ruining the trip..they rejected any attempt to apologize. We left just feeling insulted. In sum…stay away from this place.

I was there for two days to visit family. Overall, a nice hotel. The room, as usual in New York was relatively small. Comfortable and well equipped. Supposed to get an upgrade to a city view, but really had no view. The food was decent but expensive. A blueberry muffin with a small glass of orange infuse and a cup of coffee for $36!

The location was by far the best thing about this hotel and the cleanliness. Cvs was close by and Starbucks on the next corner. Pizza, ice cream and a small convenience store for a quick beverage next door. Check in lobby and concierge is on second floor and bell hop on first floor to take luggage. Six elevators all working. The room had 4 light settings, welcome for all lights, relax for less lights, sleep for bathroom lights very dim and off. There were also some other buttons at the door for Do not disturb and also one for servicing the room. Housekeeping was so nice and they sent a text to cell when DND on and room not serviced. Texted also for promos and events in hotel. There was an Alexa in the room for use. Gabriel in downstairs store was the most awesome person there. Very personable and friendly. Very happy with his service. Overall the stay was 10 out of 10 and highly recommend. Previous reviews were spot on. Great job all staff. Ryan and Deshawn were also super helpful. Only downside is neighbors slam doors but cant do anything about that. Valet in front was cool. Didnt use parking. Definately felt safe for family.

My stay here was not enjoyable. Front desk reps not hospitable, or welcoming, both check-in and check-out experiences were not good. Will take my money elsewhere next time. I was placed on the 6th floor overlooking some kind of construction, loud noises from the street. Calling for room service - the phone just rings and no one picks up for a while, you have to hang up and call again a couple of times. The rooms are tiny, and daily fees are too much for the kind of non service they give. The bath towels are half the normal size, the robes are half the normal size, my kid can fit perfectly in a robe meant for an adult. The “clean” in-room glasses were dirty. No turndown service. And the list goes on.

Room was amazing and spacious enough for a family of 4. Very clean and quiet, didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Lovely and luxurious stay, a few steps away from the madness of Times Square. Highly recommended

I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel for my dad's 50th birthday, and I must say, I expected more for the price we paid for just one night. Despite emailing ahead about the occasion, there was zero acknowledgment from the staff. Not even a simple birthday wish for my dad. In a luxury hotel, I believe making guests feel special should be the bare minimum, especially for such milestone celebrations. It was disappointing to see that basic courtesy was lacking. In contrast, even normal hotels and restaurants often go the extra mile to acknowledge special occasions. I specifically informed and requested assistance in making my dad's birthday memorable, but it seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. Moreover, the staff's attitude was far from friendly. Many didn't bother to greet us, and some even displayed clear signs of racism, treating my family differently. This is unacceptable behavior, especially in a hospitality setting where all guests should be treated with equal respect and warmth. Overall, while the Hard Rock Hotel boasts luxury, the lack of effort to make guests feel special and the unfriendly demeanor of the staff left much to be desired. I hope they take these issues seriously and strive for improvement in the future.

I love this hotel and have stayed here twice for a week at a time. The only one issue I had was next door there was a kid who was screaming her lungs off all night and morning long BUT that is not the hotel’s fault. I was going to ask to switch rooms but they left the next day / that kind of ruined my stay. Beyond that exceptional hotel and extremely clean - pretty much brand new and convenient
