The hotel did not offer a bar or lounge are where you could sit while waiting for friends/family. You were forced to sit on a ledge. We were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and I asked for a private room. I assumed they had a some staff to cook breakfast. WRONG. They could not help me at all. I booked the dinner at The Palm Restaurant. . Also they pulled up some previous flooring and there was a bump where the 2 floors met. I almost fell. I mentioned to a staff member and he said the hotel had been sold and rhe new management was going to fix everything. Not sure I’d stay again…the prices would need to be significantly lower.

5 night stay with family of 4. Overall: Like others have said it is a little outdated, but the location is great if you want to be within walking distance of numerous tourist areas. Had several things in the room that I wasn't happy about (read below). Checkin: Waited 45 minutes to checkin. The line was long and there were 3 of 5 front desks receptionists operating (saw 5 computers). Receptionist themselves were kind even though they dealt with a lot of unhappy people. Type of room: We paid for a Times Square view and what we got was a room where we had to press our face against the window to look far right to see Times Square. Wouldn't call that a Times Square view, and am unhappy since there was a price jump between types of rooms. Room cleanliness: House keeping came in daily and did a great job in keeping things clean. Room: The room itself was ok. Bare minimum for a hotel room. We didn't have enough drawers for a family of 4, and thank goodness I brought my own hangers. The lounge chair that was provided BROKE while my husband was in it and he fell to the floor pretty hard. The toilet paper roll holder broke off the wall. The outlets in the bathroom did not work (couldn't use blow dryer in there). The other outlets in the room were loose and my dryer cord kept unplugging. NO FRIDG. Made it so any leftovers we had we couldn't enjoy later. More business for the restaurants. Noise: Could hear sirens and street noise all night but that may be typical in NY.

Stayed for an overnight trip with young kids. We liked this hotel in 2020 but this time was a much different experience. From the time I arrived I was traveling alone with kids, I watched bell hops stare at me while I struggled to get my kids and myself unloaded and up to our rooms. Never was offered help unloading or getting bags to our room. Check in was okay once we were finally there. But our room was tired and old. The window on the 41st floor was broken. One side the safety latch was hanging off. This was frightening. I placed a chair in front so my kids couldn’t get to it. The bath tub was peeling and the faucet was also hanging by a thread. The phone by the bed didn’t work and when I called the front desk with my cell phone, it rang and rang and never was answered. The A/C also never got the room below 73 degrees. Also the restaurant is only a bar now no room service either. The coffee shop had only one poor gentleman working and the line was 30 plus ppl deep this morning. I know this is New York and you expect small rooms and not all the amenities but for what the CP charges for this room this was awful. There are many options for staying in NY. Stay somewhere relax.

I didn't like that the property did not refund my second night since we had a death in the family (my son) and had to get back to NC earlier than planned

If your ONLY concern is how convenient the property is located close to the Time square/Broadway then this is the perfect hotel for you. Employees were very pleasant and helpful. The lobby area is pretty cool and attractive, which also put me into an even more shock of the conditions of the actual room. My family of 4 stayed in the “time square city view”. The room was very out dated. Paint chipping from everywhere, old furniture, dirty carpet. THE BATHROOM WAS THE WORST! Wall paper peeling, water stains on ceiling, very dim lights. The worst parts being the tub had 3 HUGE peeling paint holes, with molded shower curtain. Called guest services 4X due to Dried urine stains on the back of the toilet in between the seat and lid …from a previous guest. Special thanks to the two guest services ladies who found some cleaning products to take care of the issue until house keeping got back on the clock. Loved our stay in NYC, but was VERY uncomfortable in the actual room.

The room was great. The room was a good size for my family of 4, we were very comfortable and had a good view of the city. This hotel is right in the middle of Times Square and that was a plus for us as we could walk out the front door and be right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the city. I will definitely be staying here from now on and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to NYC.

This was the best!! My and my kids went and the staff was amazing! They answered all my question’s regarding nye they were so helpful! Water bottles anytime we asked, or was decorated beautiful for the holiday and even had a Photo Booth set up for new years! Walk out the hotel and bam in the center of amazing view’s! The hotel was clean so comfy and plenty of spots to plug in any device with a usb cord and or plug, the water hot within milliseconds, they were so kind to hold our luggage as we had a late flight home, and they made sure we were good, this was such a blast and we can’t wait to come back again!!!!!

I will absolutely be staying here the next time I'm in New York! It was walkable to everything my family and I wanted to visit. It felt incredibly safe as well.
