Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Times Square South, an IHG Hotel

1. The location is confortable for me,2. The cleanliness in the room and bathroom,3.it includes the breakfast it’s very important and convenient for me and my family,4.its very safe and quiet for a comfortable rest and finally the staff is very attentive, it’s my second stay in this hotel and always considering this hotel as my first option.

The hotel will text you to let them know if you need anything prior to your stay so I asked if we could get our 2 rooms near each other as we had kids with us and when we got there the lady behind the desk didn’t even have us on the same floor and stated there was nothing she could do. Construction outside property. Breakfast was good. Remaining staff we encountered were nice.

Stayed here with my family during school vacation. Location afforded quick access to mid-town attractions, notably museums, Times Square, Korea-town, Rockefeller Center (Empire State Building) and Central Park, among others. We walked quite a bit, but subway stations are also close by. Our room (2 queen beds) was quite small, lacked a refrigerator, and had a weak AC, but was clean and otherwise suitable for our needs. The complimentary breakfast offered a decent variety of items and was plentiful. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs and questions. The informal smoking area in front of the hotel was a bit of an annoyance, but I would rather have guests smoking outside than in their rooms.

It was a nice experienced for me and my family to stay here. The hotel is in the middle of Manhattan. All the tourist spot were accessible by walking a 3-10 mins uber/lyft, 3 mins walk to train station. Our room was clean and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good and theres a lot of choices. I highly recommended this hotel for those who want to visit NY.

Great location, just around the corner from Macy’s and The Empire State and only a ten minute walk up Broadway to Times Square. Great breakfast to start your day, from cereal and yoghurts to hot plates and pastries. Just what our family needed for the day’s sightseeing!! Hotel staff were great and helpful. Would recommend this hotel for a 3-4 night New York sightseeing holiday. Only downside we found (but not a major issue) is that at the end of the day there was nowhere in the hotel to sit down, relax, have a drink and chat about your day, you had to go back to your room (but with 6 people in the party it wasn’t really practical), or there was a good bar opposite!

The issue I have was with Expedia. This was my 2nd booking in a week for two properties and when I checked in to both the front desk informed me that my bookings were cancelled by Expedia due to an issue with my credit or debit card. They were only used for the booking not to be charged but my cards were not US cards. This was very upsetting to my family and I. Expedia never notified me of the issue and that my reservations were being cancelled. This needs to be changed. Thanks Jerome Astwood

My family had a great stay here. Service was excellent. Rooms were adequate considering we were in NYC and the storage of dresser and small closet was extremely helpful and hard to find in this price range for our family. The breakfast was pretty basic, but good enough to provide a little something to eat to start the day. There was an excellent bagel place next door that we went to for a couple morning breakfast meals. Overall, our stay was great and would definitely stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay as it was half a block from subway station and close to familiar late night foods like taco bell and McDonald’s. Great location given proximity to penn station (1 avenue away) and accessibility to the activities for those with a CityPass Breakfast was good… hot and readily available without having to wait for staff to refill anything Stayed for 2 nights and there wasn’t any housekeeping services performed but didn’t really matter given our short stay Staff was super friendly over the Easter holiday weekend and offered plastic eggs filled with candy for the kids
