Loved our 5 days stay in the hotel. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids, the room was sufficient for us to rest & sleep comfortably. Breakfast spread was good enough for us Muslims. We had omelette, toast, bagels, muffins, fruits, hot drinks, milk, cereals and some other usual stuffs. I particularly wanna thank the housekeeping as they have without failed clean and tidy our room throughout our stay. We truly loved coming back to our room smelling nice and our beds tidy after a long day out strolling in the NYC.

We enjoyed our stay here in a family room with sofa bed. Comfy, clean room with coffee machine. Staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was good. Only negatives were the constant noise from the trains on Manhattan bridge, and the smell of fish especially in the lifts from the Chinese supermarket next door. The area around the hotel is quite dirty and not the best, but it’s close to the East Broadway subway and there are some nice restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Wouldn’t recommend walkimg round this area at night, but that can be said about many areas of New York.

The breakfast was limited. The food wasn’t cooked all the way (sausage, eggs). The shower door did not have a seal all the way down the door so when you would shower, it will leak all on the floor. One night a couple was fighting at 2am which the front desk representative needed to be call. I had 3 kids that would have been in danger.

They overbooked the rooms. I called twice and as recently as that morning to ensure they knew I would arrive late and that they had two rooms for me. They confirmed both times. At my 1 AM arrival, the first words out of their mouth were “we were hoping you wouldn’t come.” They had 1 room available, but not 2 for my party of 8. They spent the next hour trying to find alternative arrangements, to no avail. Eventually, I accepted the 1 room and said I’d cram on the beds and floor for the night and resolve in the morning. We did not was terrible. But at least it got my kids to bed. Very little remorse from the hotel and management for their overbooking, despite my reservation and phone call confirming my rooms earlier in the day. Couldn’t have been more disappointed - what a terrible way to start my trip. Their apology? We’ll not charge you for the one night you didn't spend on the second room. Umm…no duh. Nothing else offered. No sincere apology. id have a hard time recommending this place to anyone.

I checked in first day and water started flowing from bathtub and it was 12.30 PM and then my family was assigned to 2 single bed room. Staff member was nice and helped us but next day when I spoke with manager she was not helpful and empathetic at all. Then I asked to give me my 2 queen room bed after following constantly and it was delayed and due to which my reservation was delayed. Next day I came to hotel at the 12PM and bathroom had no cold water and it was super hot so my parents who are seniors and my brother and me where assigned room on seperate floors, 2 consecutive nights there was lot of havoc and that also impacted my NYC trip and on top of all when i spoke with manager, I just asked how can you assign room to guest without checking water which was basic necessity, and she was clueless. Last day was another drama water was clogged in basic and it was never repaired, also TV was not working when I checked in and was fixed after following twice. So overall stay was worst experience
