We had a wonderful stay at Hotel 50 Bowery! My family and I loved it here and we’ll be back again. The room was clean, decor was nice and there was mini fridge. It’s so close to everything you need. Subways and great food, what more can you ask for. Alan at the front desk was awesome in helping us, he put us in a room that had an exceptional city view! Also amenities were so appreciated on the 2nd floor, where there is a lovely sitting area outside (view of Manhattan bridge), tea, coffee, microwave, filtered water that you can refill for the day. My kids had the best time playing ping pong provided outside too. I use to live in New York and was visiting for the first time after being away for years, and I have to say, staying here was such a comfort.

Staff was excellent …. I booked this for the view and it stated “city view” we did NOT get a city view we got the Bowery view … we paid extra for it and the staff said they had 2 kindred suites and they were both Bowery views …thhe tried to get us a new room but the beds were sooooo small and we are a 6ft and above family … the pull out in the suite everytime you moved it was like popcorn popping and the pull out was very uncomfortable… for the price we paid the view and comfort were very important and fell short …. The hotel room was very nice and we did have alot of room … very clean too …. But again we paid for a city view and did not get it …..I will be in touch with Hyatt regarding this …. Not the staffs fault they were great !!!

Excellent hotel. Staff so helpful & friendly, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful room, good size for 4 of us. Great rooftop bar, amazing views of the city. Lovely free tea & coffee served on 2nd floor during the day.
Positioned really well to explore the city, away from hustle & bustle. Thank you Hotel 50, we would definitely recommend to family & friends 😀🇺🇸 🍎

Sirens ringing in the background and busy people filling the streets, yet my family still felt safe in the comfort of this Manhattan hotel. Walking through its doors, I immediately felt the warm welcome of the staff and was entirely surprised at how much I felt at home despite being in a foreign city, speaking with foreign people. Great amenities and even better views. Bed was well made and the cleanliness of the room made me feel as though we were the first guests to ever set foot in this place. Impeccable service, making it one of the best trips I’ve ever made to New York. Definitely recommend.

Great hotel especially if you’re looking for more space. Tough to find double beds where you can actually move around with your luggage. They have a 2nd floor outdoor space that was a wonderfully quiet space for us and our kids to decompress before our flight

This was the perfect hotel for our visit to NYC. We requested adjoining rooms so the kids (16 year olds) would have their own space. The staff was very accommodating.
The views were incredible and the location was perfect for walking in Chinatown, little Italy and Soho. It was also a short subway ride to the Moma. The 2nd floor was a nice space to go sit, relax and have some tea. The rooftop view is the best ever! I highly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure.

Family trip to NYC. Nice boutique well located in heart of Chinatown and Little Italy, walking distance to Battery Park and SOHO. Professional, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and reasonable rates. Great choice for a family or couple trip.

Our stay in the Manhattan suite was good. We loved having our own private terrace and the extra living space. The room was clean and tidy and public spaces were enjoyable. Given we had a suite, I would expect the sleeping accommodations to be comfortable. The king bed was great with a comfortable mattress, but the pull out sofa was HORRIBLE! Very much outdated and unbearable. Considering everything else is updated, one would expect the pull out sofa to be as well. You can feel the springs in the mattress and it was so noisy! The next night we had to drop the sofa mattress on the floor to make it somewhat tolerable. Unfortunately only 2 of us slept well while the other 2 might have had a better nights sleep on the terrace cushions. There are so many new foam mattress sofa sleepers that provide a great nights sleep, that this was disappointing to have to experience this in a hotel like this. There was also a lot of noise coming from the pipes. Constantly flow of water when other guests would use it. But the windows did a great job of sealing out the city noise. The complimentary tea and coffee on the second floor was an added bonus, with activities and space to enjoy it all. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would love if they could extend the dinner service to at least 10pm vs 9:30p. Overall, not convinced I would stay here again unless I knew they updated the sofa sleepers. Not worth the money for location if sleeping is poor for a family of 4.

We had a very nice room with plenty of space for a travel crib, good size bathroom, non-slip bath with easy access for bathing kids, and an amazing view from the 17th floor. The decor was up to date and the room was very clean. The hotel also has a fantastic roof bar with great views of Manhattan.
