Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai

It was for a business trip for my family, it was good for the wide area but a bit need cleanless

What an amazing experience i had with me and my family, would recommend to anyone. Chaild friendly, suresa was very helpful with my luggage and helped me order a people carrier to the airport. Eleanor and Ingyin at the reception were extremely helpful and made our stay easy as possible. The pool was cool even July. Service 10/10 , experience 10/10

Yaseer, lifeguard, best man! Good service and kind man. Helps with everything. For sure I am coming back in the future. I have been to Dubai 4 times and this hotel is the best thanks to the staff and especially Yaseer. Definitely a good place for family with kids . I would also like to thank the daily housekeeping who are so nice and fix and organize everything for us, especially Saffir and his group, they do a great job thank you for a good servise.👍👍👍👍. also thanks to everyone at the restaurant, they have been a wonderful group, especially thanks to Jackson who welcomed us at the breakfast buffet, the food has also been good throughout these 13 days👍👍👍.

The rooms given had very old vintage look. It was a very nice apartment. Washing machine facility was the best part for People staying long. It was a 8 min walkable distance to Dubai Mall. We stayed for 1 night only and moved to Dusit Thani. The breakfast Spread was good too. Infact very ideal for families with kids.

I’m pretty generous in my reviews but this I feel the need to really provide a detailed review for young families. This hotel (apartment side) really appealed to us because of the proximity of the Dubai Mall and Burj K & the fact that there was 5 of us. The only positive of booking this hotel is the location. No need for Uber or taxi (15-25 min ride from airport depending on traffic- as an aside government taxi’s are 60 percent cheaper than Ubers- we paid 48-55 Dirham. Walking distance to mall is 5 min. You have to cross two easy intersection crosswalks. We were placed on the 5th floor. Upon entering the suite, all I can say is that it was below par. The rugs were absolutely disgusting and stained (not sure why there isn’t tile only all around) we walked continuously on crocs inside. The furniture is quite dated (80s style Couches) and the washrooms are also quite dated - something of what you would see at a motel 6. The kitchen was so disgusting that we didn’t step foot. We would have paid couple hundred more at more up to date place had we known. The hallway of the 5th floor also had a terrible smell. I also made two toll free collect calls to my credit card company and was charged 60 Dirham. The staff did not understand my objection to this. On our first night, we had a fire alarm wake us up at 1 a.m. When we asked for an explanation the day after, none was given. The main hotel that is connected to the apartment seemed nice- nice pool area

The room wasn't properly clean. The entire carpet smelled of sand; the illumination was so poor that my family had to remove all of the carpet to see well. The wood floor had a hole, and the bathroom view was hung. Also, I try to call Expedia to complain about the situation. We check out on the 01st of January at 11:00 am.

Noisy, coffee shop/bar downstairs stayed late till 3 am… Problem with refrigerator, they changed 4 times, was still not good Kitchen was missing so many items, request all, they brought many Many features in the apartment was not properly functioning, ie toilet flushing keep sticking and not releasing, have to force that…. Impractical 2 different keys, one to open parking garage and another to open room Ac was a major problem, 1 controller for all 3 bedrooms, created an issue with my family, one want warm other wanted cooler, etc

I was staying at the apartments section. The hotel was very nice and the staff extremely friendly. Jordan and Amr at the reception took care of making the check in and different services easy and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional in both quality and quantity. Vergel made every dinner a greatly served experience. I would like to thank the whole team for a pleasant experience! I highly recommend it for families, and the apartments in particular provide great value for money that cannot be provided by regular hotel rooms

I wish there is less than one star to rate it. Brand name and photos can be misleading and that is the case with Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai. The Hotel furniture is outdated, noisy and very dirty. The Hotel staff are unprofessional and bad-mannered. Although I paid U$D 485 per night but the hotel does not deserve a $100. Do not you ever think considering this hotel especially if you’re a family. Very bad experience me and family had.

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Good room size. Located close to the Mall of Emirates and Burj Khalifa. Was quite a lot of corridor noise people knocking on doors of family/friends but thats really down to inconsiderate guests rather than the hotel.
