Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah

You get what you pay for. If you're trying to remain cheap and penny smart better off staying somewhere not on the palm. You do get free water bottles in your rooms and by the pool, otherwise you pay for your drinks and food. This is not a complaint, I expected to pay for more wants and needs. It's just a response to the negative reviews. Anyway, my stay at Waldorf was wonderful, the staff are so polite and courteous. They were always ready to help no matter what the time. I believe you'll really be grateful for your stay if you are there with your children, the staff by the pool are so amazing. Not a single negative comment about the staff, the best ! Just some advise if you come along with some fussy eaters (the kids) prepare yourself for trial and errors because as good as the food is for breakfast, my kids struggled to eat porridge made by someone other than me, they also struggled with the texture of the bread, but this is obviously because our domestic produce is probably imported and made differently to Dubai's produce. But not to worry the children will eventually eat something. It would also be nice if they had a microwave in the rooms, as one of my kids loves a warm cup of milk before bed (but the exact temperature is something only mum knows). Thank you, for a lovely sunny break from the rain we're used to in Britain!

Unique hotel, superior quality of the room and staff. Excellent stay with my family, highly recommend the hotel whilst in Dubai.

Great place for families with young kids - very busy at the pool so definitely not a place for a romantic adult trip. The staff was amazing - especially the housekeepers and restaurant staff - just lovely. Restaurants are very good quality and food was great.

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah is probably the best hotel in the Dubai area for a family vacation. The employees are extraordinarily kind. Their service level has no upper limit and exceeds most other hotels we have visited worldwide. The hotel location is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday including a number of water activities right on the pier by the hotel. The area around the hotel is nice, calm and quiet with little traffic. Beach beds are at all times readily available. In addition the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to down town Dubai and the cost of a taxi is low and affordable. Both the hotel room and the hotel area is clean at all times. The restaurants offer a variety of dishes that should suit any age. We highly recommend this hotel at all levels.

Wonderful overall stay , great service. The location is sort of at the end of the Palm, it depends what you are looking for. Ate at Lou one night and it was great, lots of vegan friendly options. I’d prefer an adults only hotel when on vacation- the adult pool is very small, the main pool is lovely but lots of kids. Overall was a good experience - my next trip I will for sure stay JB beach side, which is better located - currently there is construction around the hotel and on the road out. If you are booking excursions book them directly with where you want to go and not at the hotel.

Really excellent Hotel. We missed nothing. Service was excellent (Pathum was our main cleaning person, very pleasant service). Food (buffet) was excellent and varied a lot. Pool area was great for the kids. I fully recommend the Hotel.

We are a family of four, two teen daughters, and what a fantastic stay we had. So glad we picked the WA! We booked the pearl club as a little extra and it did not disappoint, the service was excellent and the staff a credit to the hotel. I hope we come back!
