C Central Resort the Palm

Small/medium size hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Food is decent quality. Good medium size pool. Can get quite lively with poolside DJ. Direct access to the beach for one of the Palm canals. A few fish in the water but not enough for snorkling enthusiasts. You can walk to the Atlantis waterpark in 20 minutes if so inclined. Great place to relax and stay for 2-3 nights if you don't want to leave the hotel. If you are planning for several days of lazy 'all inclusive' style, don't go anywhere else, with a family then you might be a little bored after a few days. Not much going on in the evening.

Loved staying at this hotel. Hotel is located on Palm Jumairah, outside of downtown, although it’s not a far drive. Hotel has a very nice pool for adults and kids and has a private beach area also. Loved staying at this hotel. Very clean everywhere and the rooms also! Highly recommend

I stayed here during the half term break 10th Feb to the 17th Feb. I read some of the other negative reviews but the hotel was the cheapest I could find on the Palm, so needs must. I was told resorts on the Palm were ideal for families. Turns out the negative reviews were accurate. Overall, I give this resort between 2 and 3 star poor to average. In coming to my rating I have taken into account the room rate which is equivalent to a 5 star hotel in London. This resort does not come close to any other 5 star I have been to. As with everything in Dubai you do not get value for money. The hotel is surrounded by building work. This obstructs what otherwise would have been beautiful views. Our room was right next to the construction site, the work starts at 7 am in the morning and at times was loud. The resort is not child friendly - the play room is small, it has a small ball pit and that’s about it. There is a tiny shallow pool for babies/ toddlers again not great. The private beach is perhaps the only good thing but fills up very quickly. No slides or child toys in the pool etc. Do not go for all inclusive- it is NOT all inclusive. My understanding of all inclusive means all is included, well turns out everything isn’t included. Only drinks during meal times, that is fizzy and alcoholic drinks etc. Hot drinks are not included. You cannot get a drink whenever you like. Ice creams from the poolside are not included. On the positive side the staff were friendly and the food ok.

The hotel is beautiful, the pool and beach are amazing. The only downside is that the location is quite isolated- there are no local restaurants or shops so you are required to eat at the hotel or pay for a taxi somewhere else. The staff were so kind, and love kids!

I paid for my 9 years old kid an extra bed. But the bed was the worst I hade ever used. It was so bad that the kid slept with us in the main bed.
