Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort

Really enjoyed my stay at Sheraton JBR.. by far the best pool I’ve been too at JBR in terms of size and it’s not blocked by other hotels so you get sun while in the pool. Private beach was nice to have also. Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were amazing.. one of the hostess Pattie was particularly great with me and my family. We had a sea view room which was nice and spacious.. nice view of the big wheel, sea and the rest of the hotel.. only downside was no balcony on our floor (you had to pay more) so drying clothes was tougher but other then that was good. You’re right on the strip so you can exit the hotel and you’re at the end of the strip and walking 3-5 mins you’re around all the restaurants and stuff or via the private beach you can get there even faster. All in all we have stayed at 3 other hotels in JBR and this was the most pleasant experience we’ve had

This is an old hotel. You can tell once you get inside the room. The bathroom fixtures are outdated. The location is great being close to so many restaurants like Bla Bla and shopping. They have their own beach access and the hotel pool is ok. This is a family-friendly hotel with lots of space outdoors.

We had an enjoyable experience at this hotel however did have have issues - This hotel is advertised at a 5 star - however it was built 20 years ago and hasn’t been updated since - which makes it naturally more of a 4 star as it cannot compete with the amenities offered in other newer hotels - basic things like plug points and USB ports - smart coffee machines ect are not available let alone new Modern and fresh decor - The pool swimup bar looked like it was out of service years ago - with a huge build up Of dirty and dust around it - Generally the entire building needs refurbishing That being said - the customer service is really Good - We requested something to sterilise baby bottles and a baby cot - both of which were ready and waiting in the room - huge plus points for Accommodating our needs - Where some Issues arose - when we were dealt With by Rami - a duty manager and on another occasion a manager from The housekeeping team - Both of Whom went above and beyond to assist us with our issues and try to Resolve Them - both times to our satisfaction - It seems the team work really Hard to Make up For The disappointment of the hotel - which really is the fault Of the head office at Marriott Who should really invest in this building. The location is fantastic - and the beach access is Brilliant! The staff are really good and they deserve the acknowledgment and respect for their hard work.
