JA Ocean View Hotel

Our family really had a great time staying in JA ocean view hotel. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Thejus, the house keeper, and Abdullah, Merry and Mohsin they were very helpful. Thanks to all staff members for making our stay wonderful.

We had a lovely time at the hotel ! Swimming pool was fantastic experience. Location of the hotel is excellent as it is walking distance from the beach side. Shopping and food around the location offering variety of options. Buffet breakfast at the hotel has plenty of options along with Indian masala tea. As we had opted for half board, so had the privilege to try dinner. The Chef specially made veg fried rice and french fries for our family as vegetarian option for Asian dinner. Also it had some delicious deserts to taste! I would highly recommend this hotel !!

The area that this hotel is in is great, lots going on, with a fully pedestrianised beachfront with lots of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Great nightlife in an evening. The hotel staff were great in all areas of the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. And the value for money is pretty good for what you get. The reason I wouldn’t give it a 5 star though is because the ‘non smoking room’ that we had booked smelled suspiciously like someone had been smoking in there. And the smell lingered for the entire stay, ruining the atmosphere everytime we walked into the hotel room. Another issue we had with it was the pool area, it was very crowded and the lifeguards were incredibly picky about very minor things, but then completely overlooked very major things, (For Example, a kid could be jumping in off the side of the pool, or someone could be standing up on the edge of the pool to get the perfect ‘Instagram shot’ and they’d ignore it. But they’d go and tell a kid off for wearing a swimming top into the pool) it was very random who they decided to have a go at and didn’t seem to be the same rules for everyone. I think mainly I just don’t understand how this hotel can be classified as a “5-star” hotel, Dubai must have a different rating system than Europe. I’d say it’s more of a 4 star personally. However, if I came to Dubai again I’d definitely still consider this hotel. Breakfast, location, service, value for money etc. are all big selling points for me

After looking at all the choices of hotels in Dubai Marina, we finally chose two junior suites with sea views here. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and restaurants. There is also a tour bus stop right outside. All of the staff we encountered were lovely. Booking a suite gave us access to an exclusive lounge on the 24th floor. The complementary afternoon tea was outstanding, best I’ve ever had. Followed by a happy hour with complementary drinks and snacks, which were also excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough. Would definitely return here.

The JA Ocean View Hotel in Dubai proved to be an exceptional stay during our visit from April 10th to the 20th. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Room service was both tasty and reasonably priced, enhancing our overall experience. Motrino's restaurant stood out, particularly for their exceptional steak dishes. The front desk staff demonstrated commendable efficiency and friendliness. Nisrin, in particular, provided valuable assistance, from transportation advice to currency exchange, making our stay seamless. Additionally, Laxmi, our room attendant, was simply outstanding, ensuring our accommodations were immaculate throughout our stay. Despite experiencing Dubai's biggest storm in 75 years during our visit, the hotel's management handled the situation with remarkable tact and efficiency, further solidifying our confidence in their commitment to guest satisfaction. We wholeheartedly recommend JA Ocean View Hotel to family and friends, thanks to its exemplary service and dedication to ensuring a superior guest experience. Kudos to every member of the staff for their courtesy and professionalism. We eagerly anticipate our next visit!

Travelled with 2 kids and 3 adults. Trip was both business and pleasure. Staff were friendly, location close to everything. Taxis are cheap. Lots to do.. beach a few minutes walk away. You cant go wrong.

I was a bit skeptical when I was booking but the hotel is absolutely amazing. We booked a one bed family room. The room was very spacious, balcony facing the beach and Dubai eye. I particularly want to thank Raj our cleaner he made sure our room was spotless daily and he was very kind. We will definitely come back again.

I have been in Dubai 7 yeara in a row now and never have I seen such careless receptionists. They never smile or say hello and especially Rosa from the receotion had a bad attitude both times we asked for help at the desk. The cleaning staff was friendly but the cleaning itself was not the the best. They gave us dirty cups twice where we found hair in one of the cups and the second cup still had dirt on it, which we also told the reception. The blanket on the bed had holes two times and they forgot to give us soap several times. We have been in Sofitel last year also on JBR, only few minutes walk from JA, and they had a great service. Always smiling staff, they knew our name and they playes with our son and helped him out of the car and our son loved them! It was always spotless clean in the room and the staff was friendly and smiling every single day when we passed by them. So at that point we are dissapointed with JA. The only good thing about the hotel was the pool and the staff at the pool. And we were glad for the baby-pool.

The hotel lacked family-friendly amenities and activities, which made it less than ideal for families like ours. Additionally, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, providing little support and resulting in restless nights, leaving us feeling tired during the day. While the location was convenient, these significant drawbacks overshadowed any positives of our stay.
