W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island

checked in with ayaa, booked for one night stay . The hotel is very energetic and modern specifically next to the racing track. Ayaa was nice and accommodating. Hotel room is spacious and bathroom was really clean I would like to warn people with families that bathrooms are transparent. And the racing track is open until mid night in case you want quite stay this wont be the right hotel. Otherwise its very nice.

We'd a bad experience as first because the every night music noise created by Irish pub which is opposite to our hotel. It started from night till 3-4 am every night. We can't resist even having ear block while our kids can't fall sleep all night. The next night, thanks for the hotel mgr, Ms Gurjar, we were moved to another suite which is fabulous and sleep well. Overall, hotel room is much bigger than average and is closed to every theme park (without 5 min drive by uber). Highly recommend. Only concern is that hotel mgmt has to deal with marina bay mgmt to see how to reduce the noise created by Irish pub. Even we shut all window, it can still hear every single word of the music. It's absolutely a noise for every room guest who stay the room facing to marina bay. I've no idea how such a big sound from the pub where pub visitors can hear anything except the music. Indeed, it's not necessary to have a such big volume music which affects hotel visitor and the residents living nearby

Our stay was very pleasant. We checked in at 3am. Bitto was so helpful and even upgraded us to a room with a better view for my kids. Overall the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the service here too was fantastic. The hotel is in an excellent location and close to the main attractions on Yas Island. The bellboy Bounu was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

The hotel is good and in a great location. I stayed in the hotel multiple times before but this might be the first time under W. I booked 2 interconnected rooms for me and the family. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Bathroom is big and nice. Staff are very friendly. Location is excellent. If you want to stay close to theme parks, you are in a good place. WB, Waterworld and Ferrari world are very close and there is a free bus that roams every 15 minutes to take you to the parks. Yas Mall is in the same island and a good place to do your shopping. Few negative points.. The morning breakfast is very busy even in weekdays. The Garage restaurant doesn't have enough tables to cover guests for the hotel. They end up opening other restaurants for the guests and the buffet tends to be far for my kids. I also don't like what they have done to the pools. The hotel has 2 pools, one for families (2nd building) and a general one (1st building). They close the big one (2nd) in weekdays which leaves you with the small one in weekdays and it gets very crowded. Also, the hotel has a track for formula cars and you can see the cars racing during the day which is lovely and my kids liked it (even me). But on one night, the cars were circulating the track until 11 in the evening which was very noisy. Hope these things get resolved. Otherwise, I like the hotel and I usually recommend it for everyone.
