We checked in with Nadine, who was so nice and insured we got connected rooms as per our request for us and our kids. Unfortunately, though the entrance to the hotel is very messy and confusing from the streets so when you are reaching close to it to keep a close eye where to go pool was OK although the smaller size, but the lifeguards were very aggressive and rude with the kids most of the time. Breakfast is massive as usual Hotels you can find anything you would like to. In roomBreakfast is massive as usual Hotels you can find anything you would like to but room dining average burger, pizza with mmcheese and we tried pasta. They were all an average level although they are overpriced. rooms were clean all the time and needed services where provided in a very quick manner

We had reserved a double room with 2 twin beds confirmed, but got a room with just one bed for 2 adults and 2 children! Upon request we did get a cot which was very uncomfortable. The phone was broken and the AC needed fixing as well. It appeared as though they had not received our reservations (that was confirmed months in advance) nor been prepared for our arrival, and that we got the last possible room (not in the best condition) available. During check-in we were also told that we weren't allowed to use the facilities (dining etc.) unless we had a PCR test, even with CDC cards confirming vaccination for all guests, including those under 16. PCR tests in addition to being vaccinated was not a requirement that was clear to us while making reservations. Only being vaccinated seemed to be a requirement, so if PCR tests are a required, please make that clear while guests book their rooms and not after the fact. These issues were especially inconvenient after having just arrived in transit, and needing a break during a long journey.

When we arrived at the property we were informed by the staff that the room we had reserved couldn’t fit the reservation we made, at the time of reservation we especially made it for 3 adults and 1 child so we couldn’t understand what was going on with the hotel, as I presented my printed reservation and went up to see the room it was clear that we couldn’t sleep there, coming from a trip of 13 hours, that was very disappointing. So that when I showed the manager at the time that we paid 1600$ for the reservation made I was told that the hotel didn’t receive anything near that amount. That felt like I was miss lead by Expedia because they told me that they didn’t have any room at the property that could fit 4 people so I was forced to rent a second room in order to have all of us there. The cost of that other room came to near 470$ more than expected so now going back and forth with the manager that was the best price I could find for something we already paid much more that their own value. I was told by the manager to take it out with Expedia because the price that we paid weren’t prices practiced by that particular hotel. So I’m very disappointed with all of this that was my worst experience by far with the site. I Need to have answers about this because it is not fair to pay a difference and pay much more than the hotel said it had received from the site this is very strange and i need Expedia to explain what when wrong with this reservation.
