Park Inn by Radisson Abu Dhabi Yas Island

My family have been to Abu Dhabi a few times now and whilst I would say the quality of accommodation at Park Inn is wonderful other things around the hotel itself let it down for us. The staff around the pool were quite abrupt when we asked if the bar was open but did go to get a waiter who then told us of the limited stock they held and directed us to the bar a few hotels up, not what you want really in 43 degrees of heat everytime you want a drink. Also had the strangest checkout experience bare in mind I am 53 so not likely to damage a room or cause problems, we had to stand at reception for 10 mins why we were checking out early morning and wait for house keeping to be sent to our room 5 floors up to check we had left it in a satisfactory condition before we could leave … never had that before in any hotel we stayed in. Probably would not be my first choice to return to :-(

When we arrived late after our plane was delayed. Then when we got to the hotel the only option was King bed and two singles. We had 7 people. 3 adults and four kids. We had really tired kids. The hotel did not accommodate our request for extra bedding. Terrible service.

The room was upgraded based on the proposal from reception since i was told only single will be provided although 2 twin beds were booked & paid already and were to be charged extra to accommodate the family. We upgraded since it was single bed and paid difference amount for suite room. The room was fine with good view but the tub could NOT be used since hot water control was NOT working and it was boiling water. It was unfortunate that after paying extra for the suite room, the comforts could NOT be utilized.
