Lady called Anisa at check in reception tried to upsell me to a club room. When I rejected this offer, she said she was going to upgrade me to another room, but clearly when we arrived at the room we had not been upgraded. The room was next to the maintenance room And also had a connecting room. With the connecting door, it was very easy to hear everything that was going on next door and we had a noisy family in there that woke up at 4 am in the morning . As a married couple, we should not be placed next to a connecting room. There was no soap in the shower and finally the hotel has several very small cages with wild birds in them. This is not ethical. In the past month we have stayed at 7 hotels and the Park Royal was the most expensive and the worst.

Not enough info about restaurants, not enough veg options. Miscommunication within staff. Was told about an easter hunt being at 1pm on 29 march and when i went to enquire was told they didn’t know about it. Next day was given leaflets about easter egg hunt starting at 10.15am so kids woke up early for it and started their collecting their eggs but then they were all taken away from the kids and told it starts at 1pm. Kids were super upset. Lack of communication and information.

Beautiful hotel and super friendly staff! Loved my entire stay here and would definitely recommend it to any family or friends. Hotel was very clean which I appreciate greatly. Anytime I had questions the staff was more than welcome to assist me. Great cocktails at the rooftop bar as well! :)

Everything was awesome, especially having the filtered drinking water tap, the view from the room, the songbirds calling out daily, etc. Walking from the hotel to the carpark and to the places nearby was kind of a hassle though because we had a stroller for baby but most of the places had no lift access or required us to go up and down several kerbs, even for connecting to marina square or the neighbouring malls.
