Marina Bay Sands

Roof top pool is outstanding except they did allow children in the adults only Jacuzzis. A bit disappointing. Great views from the top. Room had an excellent view of the bay. Room had very nice amenities, but did not stay in there too much. Too many places to visit while in Singapore. Casino was a bit confusing. We did not know how to play many of the Asian centric games. Plus...non-smoking was on the second floor receiving all if the smoke from the floor below. It is a great hotel, even without the casino. Garden by the bay is a must.

As budget conscious travellers, this was a bit of a one off splash-out for us, but after 3 nights at this hotel we do not regret the expense at all. Our premiere room with a city view was large and clean, and the bathroom luxurious. We paid a little extra for the city view from the 35th floor and are so happy we opted for it. The windows run floor to ceiling, wall to wall and make for a hypnotising scene at night although having now seen the amazing gardens and bay at the rear of the hotel, the view would not be bad from that side either. I had read somewhere previously that staff were cold or rude, but we did not experience that remotely. We were travelling with a little one who the staff were extremely sweet with, (they kept leaving us little animals made of towels in the room for her) and everybody went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The hotel is enormous, and we enjoyed the anonymity and freedom of coming and going. The pool was as amazing as the photos suggest. It was busy but not enough to put us off using it and the jetlag took us up there at 6am when it is still dark and quiet. As we were a little room-bound in the evenings due to our sleeping baby, we ordered in-room dining and this was a pretty awesome experience too, wheeled in on a white tableclothed table. The food was beautiful, and reasonably priced for the generous portions. If you are going to treat yourself, this is how to go about it.

we brought 2 children (9 and 13) nd we had a great time at Sands. The location, the view and the roof top pool are big attractions and worth the money, esp. this is your first trip to Ingapore.

This hotel has become a Singapore icon. Everyone knows about it and it's impossible to miss because of it's size and spectacular architecture. The views are amazing from the top where the famous infinity pool is situated and the feel up there is one of utter indulgence with the roof top garden and your choice of several bars and eateries. The staff were extremely attentive and very helpful any time we required something (we had our 2 young children with us). There's a mirad of shops and cheaper eateries nearby in the adjacent complex (the Shoppes) and the Singapore Flyer (world's tallest ferris wheel) and Sky Park are fantastic nearby places to visit. The city centre is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride, or you can take the MRT (train/metro) from Bayfront station which is literally beneath the hotel. How much more convenient can a place be? It's fantastic!

I booked my reservation months in advance for two adults in a premiere room, two beds. When we arrive, I have to include two teenage boys to the room reservation. The front desk receptionist was very helpful by suggesting to upgrade us to a 1 king bed with a rollaway sofa and instead of charging 2 children for SG100 each to enjoy two more cards that will allow access to the skypool and other amenities, she charged us only for one and we got a total of four access cards. The room was the most spacious hotel suite I have stayed so far with a panoramic view of the bay and the city equipped with top of the line amenities: all powered window blinds/drapes, fridge and lights switch. Even turning on the TV had a personal greetings with my name on it. It was totally worth every penny. Skypool is beyond amazing. Will go back with my boyfriend in the future.

I had a great time at Marina Bay. Convenience to the MRT, shops Restaurant and food court were fantastic. My only complaints are that when we checked in the lady at concierge were going to give me and my lady friend a room on a higher floor then she took it away and gave us a room on the 9th floor. Very disappointing The world class casino does not have a poker room so it is only as good as a casino in Mexico to my standard :( Also the phones were not working that night as they were having difficulties so could not order any room service for our romantic getaway. it was supposed to be a special night :( all in all it was a great hotel and would love an opportunity to stay there again in the future when I return to Asia. I would also recommend friends and family :)
