Amazing location. Close to the action but not in the middle of it. Loved the one bedroom - as a family it was great to have a fold out at night and a living area during the day. Will stay here again.

Overall our stay for a family of 4 was very good. An older building so elevator was quite small, rather noisy at night as windows did not muffle much (we were on 16th floor) and the washroom was all-in-one so that only one person could use the sink, toilet and shower at a time. Location was good as very close to: Grand Central Terminal so can access the subway to virtually anywhere, including JFK, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Plaza, Empire State Building. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you can look past the older building and tightness of the space, it is overall very good

Stayed with my family for three days with zero complaints. Very clean and the location is fantastic. Staff was great. Gary at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with and took care of my one request prior to the stay. I would stay again next time i go back to NYC.

Checked into a room that was set up by a customer for a raunchy evening and obvi not checked before our family was given the key . Charged a “Resort Fee” which was a JOKE as all are amenities were closed with the dubious excuse of “the Pandemic” . Wrote to the manager to complain about this with NO a response . Give them the chance, but not hearing back has left me With only the option I am loathe to do if writing a poor review

Personnel at the hotel were all friendly and supportive. Morning coffee was excellent. The gym were decent - great way to start off the day. This was my second stay at the Renwick. The experience was so good that I would consider staying there on future visits to NY (Business and family). Walking distance to Grand Central station.

Beautiful hotel in a safe area! Pretty large room with great view. The staff was very friendly and beds were super comfortable. My only complaint was that the water was scalding hot. Definitely an issue for families with smaller children. We were able to adjust the temp after several attempts. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again!

The room wasn't the cleanest I'd ever seen. Stains on the carpet and the chair. One of the walls was covered in coffee stains. The room on the second floor was dark and behind the window, we had some kind of huge ventilator. The staff wasn’t helpful- I got misguided information about parking. The hotel isn’t suitable for people in a wheelchair and families with a stroller- stairs to the reception and the elevators.

Pretty good price for a pretty big room for Manhattan. We had a bedroom attached to a main room with a sofa bed. Issues: 1. no table--nowhere to eat. 2. Main AC was down so we had a noisy portable unit in the window, that meant the blinds wouldn't close all the way so that light came in. 3. portable AC wasn't strong enough so we had to ask for a fan to blow some of the cold air into the bedroom. 4. bathroom had no fan, nor any counter space. There was nowhere to put our stuff. 5. No coffee maker in the room. Gave us vouchers for the cafe next door. 6. bathroom was inside the bedroom, so it's not like you could get privacy from your kids in the bedroom. 7. Goofy made-up hotel origin story. Everything else was pretty good. There was a good bagel place around the corner, and the cafe downstairs was alright. You're in midtown so don't expect much from the blocks around, but it's convenient to everywhere. Basically, I would stay at this hotel again if the price was right again, and they assured me that the AC was working right.
