We upgraded to a one bedroom apartment from a traditional room and it was a great use of space. There was a terrible smell but they switched us without any issue. The service at this hotel was absolutely amazing. 100% would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

During a short visit to Manhattan with family, stayed at the Shelburne. Great location close to Grand Central. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy by our room at times since it was located directly across from the linen room that housekeeping accessed regularly and door would slam periodically but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion would be to offer complementary bottled water.

After much researching of NYC hotels for our family, we chose this due to room size, queen beds, convenient location and apartment style. Initial room had disappointing bathroom (had to sit sideways on WC due to wall!) but mentioned to staff and were upgraded. Amazing customer service. Would highly recommend.

The staff was really nice and always willing to help. Our room had a kitchenette, which was perfect for meal prep for our baby.

Came to nyc to celebrate a friends birthday. Luis was so welcoming and awesome with his recommendations. The hotel and room was super clean and exceeded all expectations. All staff were accommodating and always so nice. Will definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends and family. Thank you Luis and team for the wonderful stay and helping us celebrate my friends birthday.

Great location, safe, quiet, convenient to big attractions. Excellent staff! Manny (front desk) was awesome and was able to get a room available earlier than the standard check in time. We were traveling with a toddler in a red eye flight so we’re exhausted by the time we got to the hotel early morning. But Manny was able to coordinate with the cleaning staff to have us into a nice clean, big room by noon! He was multitasking while dealing with all the checking in/out guests. We appreciate you Manny, and really enjoyed our stay at the Shelburne Sonesta and would love to come back again!

For a clean hotel in a great location, this place is top notch. The staff was really friendly with our kids, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower was spacious with great pressure. If you're in the city to explore, I highly recommend.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Shelburne. The room was spacious and well appointed and the staff was kind, welcoming and helpful. The location was easily accessible and provided a great starting point for all of our excursions. Highly recommend!
