The unique designs of the entrance or the greener and trees makes it classy the decorative was amazing only downside is the rooms were very small.
Food was great but the front desk charges extra to check in early th E n also charged a sizable deposit. We were two grow adults not kids.

Note that the hotel is tucked away on Crosby street so if you are getting to the hotel by car it can be tricky as there is no bellhop standing on the street and there is only a very tight area to unload- can be tricky with kids and odds of holding up traffic are high. The only real complaint is that I asked for more pillows at one point - only 2 on the King bed - and they did not have any. A hotel running out of pillows? That was a first. The room was very clean and very quiet which was nice.

Stayed there for 2 nights, and 3 days. The staff were very kind. Especially the man helping us in the lobby with our bags. Good location/walkability especially if you have kids.
I wouldn’t stay there for longer than 2 nights really,.
The beds and pillows were really not comfortable. I was tossing and turning all night and didn’t sleep well at all and neither did my friends. The rooms are quite small for the price you pay. No mini fridge in the rooms.
The restaurant is not great, the food took a Really long time to come out and they made us peal the shell off our own hard boiled eggs.

The room is clean, fresh, nice views ( of course with the price is over $3xx ) but
First, they should check the Heat before giving the key to customer. Around 1-2am ,My room was freeze. My husband and I cant sleep at all . I had to iron the sheet so my son can feel warm. The engineer came and checked (he’s quickly respond and good helper when he turned on the heat on the other room before we moved down ) . Finally , we have to change to another room. Moving stuffs and the toddler at that time is a nightmare. Instead of having good night sleep and enjoy everything, we stayed up so late- my son got up fussy when we moved. We woke up exhausted next morning
Secondly , the key is useless. My husband had to go up and down 3 times ( 1 nighttime - 2 daytime) to tell receptionist. We were so so tired and cant say anything else. Luckily, i had The housekeeper helps us open the door( after checking my information to make sure that my room) . At least, the receptionist should follow us to help with the key.
Next , there’s no bathrobes in closet ( i fought there’s 2 robes in the other room that they changed for us ) . I believe they are the same Premium Queen room.
Last one, there’s no fridge that I can keep my son’s milk (he’s 2 years old) .When we stayed at another hotels(in NYC), they always have fridge.
After exploring NY on Monday and Tuesday morning, we came back to the hotel with the expectation that we can relax. But there’re all tiredness and uncomfortable

I tried so hard, i booked this for my family after staying here previously on business - i am taken with the views and the superb location. Housekeeping are punctual and superbSadly beyond that there really is nothing to merit the place at al. Service has been hard work, hit and miss if cafe open for a morning coffee, food so so poor in the Kitchen where i left 90% of my lunch as did my guest, such a shame

The hotel has a great location, rooms are impecable, housekeeping staff, bell boys (Jeff and Esteban) and hotel reception where very friendly and helpful but restaurant service and staff is very rude. They are extremely overpriced and the service disappointing.. we payed $500 (4 adults and 2 kids) for a pasta and meat dinner, where my father had to finish his glass of wine in a rush because they where closing (10mn past the closing time) they where rude, and did not even gave him (75 yo man who just payed 500 bucks) the time to finish his glass of wine. During breakfast time they also where not very friendly.. on the eco friendly side, I think you could switch to big refillable containers of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel.. the small tiny bottles are just a waste of plastic and when you stay for a week it’s a lot! I counted more than 12 little bottles left in the room (we brought our own products but we received new little ones everyday). Overall the experience was very nice and the rooms are super comfortable.

Hotel is well located but there hasn't been any investment in updating the amenities, furniture, fixtures or elevators of the building. The hotel seems to be oriented towards servicing the restaurant downstairs - and depending on the staff member you encounter, the experience can be a good one or terrible. Granted, I was traveling with a baby and perhaps am not the target demographic for this hotel, but it was made abundantly clear by staff at the reception repeatedly that they could not be bothered less to make the stay a pleasant one. The smell of weed and cigarettes in the corridors and rooms, could be easy to ignore as an adult but tough to tolerate for a baby. The receptionist scoffed at even trying to entertain my request to change rooms 20 minutes after checking in. Kudos to the cleaning staff at the hotel who went out of their way to refresh the room everyday by opening windows, etc.
