Family of 3 (8 year old with us), we stayed here due to the proximity of the event that was going to take place (Ghostbusters anniversary) and I wanted somewhere walking distance. The location was perfect 👌!! The room ran a little warm but wasn't unbearable. Staff all super nice and hotel was clean and well kept. I was able to log into my Netflix on the tv in the room so that was a plus for my son when we were settling down for the evening. Within a block was plenty of food chocies for the whole family. Tribeca bagels literally next door was a life saver for drinks, snacks and my son loved thier pizza. My favorites were poke bowl & Los tacos hermanos, and my husbands was Black burger.

Thin walls / very noisy. We had to switch rooms because the family next door would get up at 3am for the day and was very very loud. If you have to switch rooms, you have to check out of your room and wait until 3pm for another room to open up. Not cool being that we were the ones being inconvenienced. Not blaming the staff as this is their policy. It is terribly loud though especially if you have a door connecting to another room. If you are a deep sleeper or don’t mind the noose, you’re good! I liked most everything else about this hotel though.

Decent hotel. We had a terrible start to our holiday with my wifes creditcard being declined for no reason when we arrived. I was out finding dinner for our family. The receptionist was stone cold. No understanding at all. Other than that an ok service. We were a bit dissapointed that we had to be “special” Members to visit the top terrace(good skyline view) as this wasnt stated in the description when we booked. Restaurant food option werent very good either and more expensive than restaurants in the area. So all in all a good place to sleep, but nothing special.

We arrived at the property prior to check-in, and were immediately given drink vouchers to enjoy while we waited for our room to be ready (it was then ready right at check-in time!) Our room was spacious and clean, and we were gratefully surprised to learn that complimentary water bottles were offered and replaced as needed. We were able to easily walk or take the subway anywhere we desired. Two Canal St stations were conveniently accessible within a 1-2 block walk. Our only qualm with this property was the inconsistent room temperature, which we felt was to be expected in city buildings. We did not contact the staff about this, and were easily able to adjust the thermostat when needed. I have no doubt that if we did contact the staff, they would have been incredibly kind and would have done anything possible to assist us! We did additionally use a sound machine at night while sleeping, which is a daily practice of us regardless. We had an incredible stay at Sheraton Tribeca and will absolutely continue to recommend this stay to our friends and families traveling to the city!

It was our second time at the Sheraton Tribeca. We had an awesome time, can’t say enough about the staff. We arrived late and had some family issues to deal with so didn’t pay much attention when we checked in that evening but soon realized that the floor we were on, club level, was a bit too noisy for us. We asked to be moved to another floor that morning and thanks to Kimberly, one of the supervisors we were able to move by 1pm. The room was on the floor below and had an awesome view! Club room was great for breakfast, snacks, and evening wine. Angie and Carla at the front desk were exceptionally helpful as well. Conveniently located to the subway. Planet fitness is next-door if you want to squeeze in a workout. If you have a membership. I only mentioned a few names, but every staff member we met was gracious and helpful There is a section up the street that is a little sketchy because of the street vendors, but, we had no issues and spent a lot of time walking around. Would definitely stay here again, they made our 20th anniversary trip extra special.

We enjoyed the club room and the breakfast etc. offerings. The Supervisor of the maids and maids in general were professional. The servers at the restaurant were also very pleasant. It would have been a better experience if all staff were friendlier in general and more professional particularly in the club room and front desk area for example. Only a couple of club room staff who served alcohol seemed welcoming in general. Our room was not ready for many hours past the 3 pm check in time. This was time wasted. One day, one of the bellboys practically pushed his way into the elevator with his empty luggage cart when there were already 5 of us in the elevator from two different families, forcing us into closer contact during these COVID times. This is unacceptable especially with signage clearly indicating "For your safety, 2 persons or one family" per elevator that was not respected by anybody.

The shower did not work- only the tub spout - had to kneel in tub to wash hair under tub spout, and wash body by splashing water with a paper cup. No internet that worked. No cable TV - antenna reception only, and most tv channels were scrambled so TV unwatchable. Also, no internet connection that functions. Power outlets are coming/hanging off the walls so the phone charger plug was falling off the outlet. The front door does not close properly- keeps opening up, had to prop closed w a chair. Wallpaper peeling off walls. Toenail clippings by the bed. Bed headboard is free-standing so every time you move in the bed, the headboard bangs the wall. No coffee maker. No room safe. No iron. One chair with fake leather peeling off of the side. We had a paid and confirmed reservation and waited in the lobby 30 min to be checked in - however hotel told us they have no room for us and will have us Uber at own expense across town 40 streets down and on the opposite side of Manhattan. Or we were offered to leave- we were told the door is open and literally shown to the street. Only after insisting that we have a paid contract did the hotel put us up for one night - we had to move for the second night. The entire stay was a nightmare from hell - and we had picked this location because daughter was moving into college dorms in the vicinity- the location was extremely important to us due to the early morning move in. Also our last night with our child was ruined. Room was extra small box.
