Great jumping off point for families driving into the city and a subway stop right out the door. A quieter location than many. The room is fine, but could use a refresh. That being said, I would stay again. Very nice staff.

I did not like the fact that there was only one elevator working. It took forever just to get to my room with my family.

The area around this hotel is increasingly noisy, dirty and full of vagrants wandering around. The staff gave my wife a hard time when checking in as well due to us having different last names and me having made the reservation. I had to drop her off with the kids and the bags park the car a mile away due to the hotel not having parking onsite. The hotel advertises that it has parking but it does not. They partner with a garage about a 10 minute walk away.

Nice spot in Tribeca. The Botte Italian restaurant next door is tasty. The room and price is good. Walked to NYU with my family-daughter wants to go. Short Uber to Pier 16 for boat tours, and up to Empire State. I rented a car to go to Philly and DC getting out of the lower west side through the Holland Tunnel in minutes. I was impressed.

Area is a bit shady at night but not too much, kinda liked it (and was traveling with kids). Pizza across the street is fab $1 a slice and subway right outside so perfectly situated for exploring all five boroughs! Had a fabulous time. Great budget hotel and staff were great, especially Shivon - so helpful. Would definitely stay again if going to nyc.

Had 2 rooms. One was for my daughter and her family and we had ordered 2 cribs. When we fot to the room there were no cribs. We had to call twice until they brought cribs and then they had to make a third trip as they sidnt bring sheets. Itvwas 8pm and with a 6 month ikd and a 3 year ild it was very trying as it was getting kate and past their bedtime. Also housekeeping took their soap and never refilled it. They were left with no doap. They called housekeeping and they never brought the soap. We had to go to the lobby and talk to the front desk and someone went and got a bar of soap for them. Also our room needed more towels and after waiting over 2 hours for towels my husband went into the hallway and found a housekeeping cart and got towels from the staff himself. These issues need to be addressed.

Long time Expedia user and this was my first time upon check in being told by front desk that they couldn’t verify proof of payment from Expedia, even with my presenting them the Expedia receipt and proof of payment from my bank. Thus their solution was for me to pay a rate 1.5x higher than I paid and then reach out to Expedia to have them correct with hotel. Needless to say after about 90mins of virtual assist and phone time the issue was said to be resolved but funds weren’t back in my account upon check out. The first attempt to get into my room, it was occupied by another guest. Upon obtaining a new room, it was two queens not the king I had reserved. Upon calling the front desk, I obtained the run around and simply surrendered exhausted from their incompetence. I travel to Soho every 2 months to visit family. Outside of all this, there are many other hotels in this area and price range much nicer, as this is definitely a 2.5-3 star property from my rooms appearance and experience. Amazing these two companies with all their technology can’t have a more immediate solution or train employees to simply use logic and go above and beyond for their customers.

The property is located at very good location so making commute to different places in NYC very convenient. However, the size of the room outweighs this benefit because for 2 kids and 2 adults the rooms appear to be very small. Another negative point is behavior of some staff members (not all). We reached quite late in night and there was no drinking water provided by the lady at reception. She suggested to drink from tap water in toilets or purchase the water from pantry. However, another staff member during the afternoon time provided chilled water bottles without any charge. We never expected this kind of staff with Hilton.
