Roxy Hotel New York

We had a lovely stay at this Tribeca hotel. The hotel was very conveniently located for restaurants and shopping in Tribeca and Soho. The entire staff at the hotel was amazing. The rooms were a little utilitarian, nothing fancy, but very comfortable mattresses. We had a double room because it was my husband, our two kids and me, and these were truly double/full size beds, not queens. It was OK for us, but others should just know. The hotel has a little cinema in the basement and a jazz bar. We didn’t take advantage of either, but I liked the lobby bar/restaurant and coffee shop very much and the entire staff made you feel very welcome… we will definitely go back again.

The room was super clean. We stayed here during a winter snow storm and it was perfect having a whole evening at the hotel- drinks at the bar, dinner at the restaurant, and live jazz downstairs! Really fun & romantic. Would stay here with my partner again, but a bit loud at night- perf for party vibes, wouldn't say great for a family/kids. Beautiful place.

This was my first stay at The Roxy and I will definitely be back. I need to travel with my dog and pets stay free here. They provided a dog bed and bowl for my fur baby as well. The rooms and hotel have a very charming theme to them and there are several things to do on the property itself. There is a movie theater complete with concession stand (the movies aren’t exactly current but still very cool). A pool table sits just off the front desk and there is also a bar/lounge and bar/restaurant, both with live music (schedules are online). I especially loved the Latin band that played during brunch on Sunday. The hotel itself is very close to the subway and there convenience stores nearby for everyday needs. It’s an easy walk to the shops in SoHo as well. Finally, the hotel staff was beyond friendly and efficient. We received a complimentary glass of champagne upon checking in, and any requests we made by calling the front desk were quickly attended to.
