Room was tiny even for a wheelchair accessible room, I guess that’s what you get in manhattan. The accessible room door and bathroom door did not work so would not have been acceptable for anyone on their own, thankfully our wheelchair guest had family with her to help. No one helps you at the door, no place to stop and unload in the street. Their website claims they have valet parking but they do not. No room service. The “24 hour” parking they have a deal with down the street is NOT open 24 hours do not depend on it. Overall not worth the stay just to see the Empire State Building from your room.

The guys at the front desk were exceptional getting us checked in and helping with luggage. We had about 4 rooms so it was a bit of madness but the gentleman helping with luggage was a professional. As the only man in the family, this was very helpful. The hotel was nicely decorated. Parking was easy as the garage is one block over but be prepared to pay quite a bit, but hey its NY everything is dumb expensive. The Empire State south view was gorgeous but the North side was completely blocked by another building. Location to times square was excellent, a short 5 min walk to get to the glitz and glamour of the area. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected, I remember thinking their photographer was very good lol. I spend some time at the bar in the lobby and the drinks were phenomenal. Even had some Kangeroo on the menu which I had to try. Overall it was a pleasurable stay and I would recommend to other travelers.

The hotel in an excellent location, close to shopping, transit, and lots to see and do. The rooms are typical for NYC - small and efficient, kind of dark, but with so much happening in the city, who needs a huge room. If you want a view, get a 03-06 room on a high floor.
The room and bathroom were clean, and we had towels refreshed on day 3 with no issues. The bathroom door is quite heavy and is really just a large glass panel and doesn’t lock.
The rooftop bar offers an amazing view, and really is the jewel in the crown of this hotel. It is operated by an independent restaurant, which was nice for cocktails - we didn’t have food there. Their staff was a bit unfriendly, but we can’t fault the hotel at all for that.
The absolute best part of our stay was the concierge woman, Lily. She is unbelievable kind, professional, and personable. Her recommendations were all spot on, and she took a genuine interest in our family having a great time, not only at the hotel, but in the city as well. She provided transit advice, restaurant suggestions, and addressed all of our concerns regarding our booking. She gets a 10/10.

Good stay, the room is small but clean and well renovated. Only 8 rooms per floor so it is very calm. We slept like babies!!

I have never had such a bad customer service experience in my life like I did here. The front desk lady was incredibly rude. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt bc she seemed stressed with her baby at work. I called the day before to explain we had a flight delay and ensure our hotel reservation would still be honored. The man I talked to on the phone ensured me that we would be fine and our room would be ready when we got in from our red eye flight. When we arrived from the airport a little after 7am there was no one at the front desk… not a soul. Then 7 minutes or so later a lady comes in with a stroller and a baby and she says “we don’t have room, we’re booked” and I try to explain that we called and confirmed and she is talking over me telling me that I needed to call when she was working because the man I talked to was new and so they sold my room. This was a room I booked back in January. I asked her how was I supposed to know he was new or to call when she was working when I don’t even know her. She said if I paid up front they wouldn’t have bumped me, but bc I went through Expedia (third party) and did the “pay at the hotel” option they cancelled my room, even though I called and confirmed the day before. They also charged me, but I reached out to Expedia that same morning and they are getting me a refund. I have never encountered someone is hospitality so rude. Stay far away from this hotel. The headache and treatment is not worth it. Not a single apology.

The hotel is lovely, the rooftop bar/lounge is a great place to go for a drink bartenders can be a little more attentive. Although if traveling with kids you can't go up there with them after 6:30pm. The housekeeping lady was so rude, she knocked on our door 4 times 5 seconds apart after each time I said "one second". On the day of our check out we rode the elevator with who I can only assume as the housekeeping supervisor who was much more pleasant and apologized for the rudeness of the previous housekeeper. The front desk staff was so friendly the gentlemen that check us in and even the lady that checked us out just to see a smiling face was a bonus to brighten our day. OHHHH and wait the BATHROOM I WAS IN LOVE!!!!
