great hotel in UWS. room was spacious and great view of broadway. The fridge and microwave was a nice surprise. Great size for family of 4. great location with lots of options for restaurants and very close to a subway with an express train to get downtown quite fast. bakery attached to hotel is wonderful. Busy with lines but well worth the wait.

My family has been staying here for decades and we had also booked this hotel for our wedding guests in 2022. It is always wonderful to come back to and to see how much it has changed.

Excellent and comfortable stay for our family of 4 (2 young kids). The staff were very friendly and helpful, can store luggage if arriving early. The breakfast bakery next store was delicious. Would definitely stay again. Only issue is the narrower hallways and elevator, which is tight for strillers

Great hotel! We had a very spacious room for NYC - the front desk upgraded us to the family suite and it was so comfortable. Location was excellent, breakfast vouchers to the French cafe were great, and the front desk staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Belleclaire was the perfect place for our NYC trip. We were showing the city to our kids, 7 and 9, and this was one of the few properties with a family room setup. We originally booked a suite/parlor, but upon arrival, they surprised us with an upgrade to a proper two-room accommodation. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and appointed with simple elegance. They vouchers they provided allowed us to have a delicious breakfast at their onsite French bakery, Mille-Feuille, every day before setting off. The hotel is situated 3 blocks from Central Park and the Natural History Museum, and is only 2 blocks from a subway station. I look forward to staying here again and would recommend it to anyone, but especially those traveling with children that you don’t want to sleep in the same room with during vacation!

My family and I stayed for 4 nights 5 days and it was a nightmare. The staff is rude, unpleasant and aggressive. They state it’s non smoking but when on my first day the second floor smelled full of weed and our room smelled and so did our clothes they stated that’s normal now days and refused to address the issue. They were rude to my family and I and I felt attacked

Great location a short walk / tube trip away from all the hustle and bustle. Bakery provided a good start to the day, with good choice and efficient friendly staff. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant, bar was excellent but a little expensive. Rooms were clean but very small for 4 of us with no room to store clothes just one small cupboard and set of drawers, probably fine for a short stay for 2 people but not a family of 4 for a week! Overall really enjoyed our stay and would consider returning when next back in NY depending on size of group and number of nights.

We needed a place to stay while visiting family on the UWS, and Hotel Belleclaire was available at a not-extravagant rate. The bakery pastry available for breakfast is excellent.
