Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square

The employees were spectacular. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. What really mattered and stood out for me was when my Mom walked away from me a half a block from the hotel. After I contacted 911, went to businesses, and figured out which way she went, I went back to the hotel, asked for my car from Valet, and explained what happened. The employees immediately started their protocols and started a grid search for every floor in case she went on the elevator with other guests and exited the wrong floor. The manager let me know what was happening. It turns out my Mom had a small stroke. We had to extend our stay while Mom was in the hospital. The employees, now family, were so helpful. I will never forget the kindness, helpfulness, and support we needed and received.

Stayed for the weekend with my two kids. The room was very clean even though the hotel is being remodeled. Every staff me member that we encounter was very polite and helpful. Check in and out was super easy. Our room was supposed to be ready by 3pm but we were able to check in early at 1pm so that was great. The hotel is in a great area down the street from Bryant park and around the corner from Times Square. Sub stop also at the corner of the street. Just overall very convenient location.

Our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Manhattan/Times Square was awesome! The staff was so kind and helpful! Everything was so clean! The food was great!! It was a safe environment with our young children! Would stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was great. Location was excellent and safe. Room was very small but doable with a family of four. Only issue were the beds seemed smaller than a standard full. For a family of four, it was tight to sleep.

The double bed rooms only have full size beds which should be noted on the website like all other hotels do so you are not surprised upon check-in arrival. All other hotels I've ever stayed in that have double beds were all queen beds as this is the first time I've experienced this. I would not recommend this for a family. The shower pressure was awful and the TV worked sporadically at times. The outside entrance to the hotel was not as expected as concrete was cracked around the enclosed beams and some of the tiles were loose when walking to the sidewalk. The noise from construction and emergency vehicles were very loud and windows were not soundproof as mentioned on the website. Upon checkout, the ceiling was leaking and part of the sheetrock was hanging in the lobby with a bucket around it and not stating to guests to be careful or put any type of caution around it. This is a hazard for sure. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Friendly host and good for families and kids

Our view of The Empire State Building was absolutely amazing !! Everyone was so nice and professional . Clean rooms, excellent staff !! Special thank you to Melvin at the front desk for making my kids laugh and really enjoy their stay !! Bravo Sir !! We will be back soon !!

It was a great location, was safe, clean, and the basic amenities were sufficient and well done. Staff (esp. Melvin & Paul) were friendly & helpful. Room was large enough for our family of 4, with comfy double-beds. And view of the Empire State Building out the window was an added bonus.

Stayed with kids. Excellent location. Rooms are small but staff is amazing. Very helpful and polite. Room service was available everyday. Laundry and gym were great additions. Would highly recommend it!
