Staff gave great recommendations on where to eat. And they were beyond helpful. This is a great hotel for families.

We were very comfortable with our stay. The bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable, we felt safe and at home. I know the hotel cares about its eco footprint. They want you to choose to not get new towels each day which I am all for. However, there is NO where to put your towel to dry! There is one small hook and one tiny towel rack. What are we supposed to do with wet towels for a family of four? The only choice was to put them on the floor and then we needed new towels everyday. This was a real shame. Please add hooks in the bathroom and also hooks in the hallway as you enter the room. It would be so nice to hang up bags and coats and stuff to keep as much of your belongings off the floor as possible.

My stay here with the Marriott was amazing yet again. I love this hotel and the staff who are so friendly and kind, they make my stay feel worth it. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough to friends and family locations is great.

We stayed two nights during a family trip to see the city. This conveniently located hotel is an 8 minute walk from Penn Station. The room had comfortable beds, a fresh look and an impeccably clean bathroom. We found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful during check in.
Hope to stay here again next overnight visit to NYC.

I was dissatisfied because we were there on a family trip the parking situation is horrible we we told if we park in a garage 2 blocks away it was $50/$60 but the fact that if you take out the car to get around for the same night you have to pay again to enter which is ridiculous the hotel should have an agreement with the lot for this I would never be going back at this hotel

Stayed with 2 kids (12 & 14). Best hotel yet for NYC trip! Most helpful staff, perfect location for us ( near subway), and room was large and clean! Decent view, quick food options nearby and large lobby area. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond! Will stay here again!

We are Marriott Gold Elite Members. We have visited many Marriotts and have never experienced this kind of service. We arrive to check in and was asked for a credit card. I gave the front desk person my credit card and he said the card did not get approved. I then gave my debit card. After running my debt card, I received a text from my credit card asking if I was authorizing a $560 purchase. I asked the front desk why I was being charged that much as I thought damages were usually about a $200 hold. He stated he was charging for the room that I already had booked and paid for through Expedia. I checked my bank account and I saw 2 $560 charges for a total of $1,120 on my debit card. I inform the front desk person that I already paid for the room through Expedia. A manager comes out to help and sees that my room is already paid for and apologized. She informed me that I could call chase to ask if they could expedite the hold release. Then next day, I received an $80 charge on my credit card. Again, I went to the front desk and was told maybe the night auditor charged me and they would remove the charge. The next day was our check out and we had a late check out. We were asked 4 times before 12pm what time we were checking out, waking our 7 month old infant. All the hotel offered was an additional 2 hours in the hotel room for the horrible experience and money lost that I am currently disputing through my bank. Upon leaving, another couple was going through the same experience.

More than anything, I was blown away by the kindness, professionalism and hospitality of their staff. In multiple interactions, they went above and beyond to give us the best possible stay and service, and it really made an impression on me. This is a relatively new property so everything feels clean and updated. This is a great spot for a family or couple, and I enjoyed being right across the street from the Hudson Yards shopping and so close to the 7 line on the subway. Not to mention that you're only a couple of blocks from Penn Station, Moynahan Food Hall, the High Line, and all of Midtown Manhattan. We will stay here next time! Overall great value and experience!
