Rixos Premium Dubai JBR

Excellent - clean, central location, the pool is excellent for adults and families. Staff are friendly and always there to help. The suite is perfect for families with young children. Need to improve - lifts, every day it seems like only one or two is working, stops at every floor. There are 6 lifts but it doesn’t work very well. - pillows were too hard - I didn’t ask for better ones because I was too tired every night - AC is intermittently working, one room it was too cold or too hot. - Godiva downstairs is useless, no coffee or ice cream available. - the hotel needs a coffee shop - breakfast is very good but the options feel the same every day. Some variation will be nice, better selection of cakes/pastries. - waiter service by the pool is slow, takes a while to get someone’s attention

Perfect stay for family’s . Nice area

Management really rude and disrespectful this time round, before I had never had any issues with staying at the Rixos, but this time round really disappointed and sadly me or any of my family members will ever return there again. We tend to go away to enjoy and relax and that wasn’t that case this time. There are plenty of other amazing hotels that we would gladly go back to and they will be appreciative for the return stays.

The service at Rixos was appealing. Made me and my family wait 5 hours even though I had prior. Landed in the morning at Dubai at 5 am. Got to the hotel at 6am. The front desk attendants were flap rude and in helpful. We had to wait 5 hours for our rooms to be available. In prior investigations the rooms were available but had to be released by housekeeping. Terrible avoid this hotel.

Perfect for young families. Excellent location.

Generally very nice and clean. Food options weren’t varied and very expensive. Beach felt very packed in like sardines. No kids club program or evening entertainment.

I think overall, hotel was OK and closer to the JM beach and surrounding shops and restaurants. The room wasn't as described, as the king size bed was hardly a king size and unable to sleep 3 people including young child. I did not like the shower/bathroom, open space which lacked privacy. I also noticed Islamic Quran with prayer mat which was good But not good as if you keep alcohol drinks in same place i.e. room. This is something for the management to think about and reassess moving forwards. Finally, not happy with the security deposit taken for both room's as many traveller's would be struggling to make large payments for deposits and I have still not got my deposit back as its been 2 weeks!
