Avani Deira Dubai Hotel

Recently stayed at the Avani Hotel in Deira with my 2 friend and other family members. We had an amazing time. All the staff were fantastic, really helpful. The rooms were great as was the food. We didn't want to go home. Can't wait to go back

Upon arrival the reception staff went into a longer explanation to why the booked room was not available, i.e. that we had not specified we wished a non-smoking room. That was actually stated at our confirmation message. Also, the staff claimed that our son 15 y/o could not be included in the room charge, as he was considered an adult, despite the booking was for 2 adults and 1 child. On their booking site, a child is up to 17 y/o. The staff even questioned us if we were sure that our son is 15, as he is quite tall and we asked her to confirm with his passport. Such attitude is completely unacceptable. The end of the mess was that we were upgraded, but had to pay for an extra bed, despite the booking confirmation as mentioned above. Therefore our rating unacceptable, due to the very poor service received.

its quite and good for families since there is no abnormal behaviors or activities you can see in the hotel. Its clean hotel.

One of the best hotels for your hard earned money. Superb service in the housekeeping, concierge, valet and rooftop pool area! Great international buffet for breakfast and dinner in the Jigsaw restaurant. We ate breakfast there every day for a week and did not get bored. Great executive lounge on 5th floor with high tea and happy hour. Pool was just perfect after a day of shopping and site seeing. Just big enough to have a proper swim. Also had a kiddie play pool, which my daughter loved. Pool was super clean, as was luxurious locker room with clean showers and sauna. The gym was awesome with a lot of new equipment. Housekeeping gave a great turn down service and always left plenty of free bottled water. Location was a little far from the tourist action, but with cheap and safe cabs in Dubai, this is not a problem. This is what gives you a luxury experience at an affordable price. Great free shuttle and free entry to a Palm Island resort's beach club. Clean and like a dream on the water with an awesome huge infinity pool. You cant say anything bad about this property!
