The Marmara Pera

Family room was amazing- two joint rooms; twin beds for the kids, and plenty of space for everyone. Breakfast was amazing, family friendly service.

This is the worst property I’ve ever stayed at. I usually never rate properties, but this is an exception. The staff is super unfriendly. They misbehaved with me and my family and threw us out of the room with our bags in the room during checkout. They don’t care if you’re a guest or tourist. The food was also terrible. Book any other hotel other than this.

I was there with my family from 10 to 15 April 2024 , nice location, friendly staff and very clean rooms .

The location is very central for the city, however there is very loud music around the hotel pretty much every night! The pool is on top floor (17th) it is only open from 9am-6pm as there is a restaurant located on same floor, the pool is closed when the weather is windy too. This happened 4 days out of our 7 night stay. On the whole the staff were helpful however there were a few rude staff. The family room which has a connecting door was helpful with 2 children in that room. The hotel needs updating in the rooms especially the air conditioning.

The hotel was very noise, there is a nightclub across the way and you can here the music till 2am, very clearly. There’s no soundproofing on the windows or in the room so you can here your next door’s conversations. People coming in late upto 4am walking up the stairs band doors and talking loudly every night, should be encouraged to use the lifts and be told to be respectful to be quiet. Me and my family stayed 3night and have come home absolutely shattered, due to no sleep. The pool is no longer the hotels after 6pm, we wasn’t advised of this and had to find out by a rude man that worked in the restaurant that takes over on the roof top. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.

The staff was very helpful, especially Kerem at the front desk. Kerem was able to resolve an issue that came up regarding parking. He was very hospitable and respectful. Kadir welcomed everyone and was very helpful in guiding us to places to go in the area and Mohammed at the front desk too was very helpful. The only issue we noticed was the roof top and pool. It seems to be separate from the hotel and run by whom ever owns the restaurant. So that may be why they close the by at 6pm and on Sunday you can't get up to the roof top. It would be in the hotels best interest to change that as well as let children join their families for the lounge times. You loose "money" not including families.

Found the staff very helpful to assist even the young junior Halil was always smiling and eager to help .. dinning area was very clean and the staff good . The young lady at the coffee machine served good coffee and more important the cleaning staff and house keeping always smiling and very greeting .. it would be a consideration to stay

My family rented 2 rooms for the week. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. We will stay there again.

We were very disappointed by our stay. We requested a non-smoking room but none were available. My toddler stepped on broken glass by the pool from the night prior and I had to call multiple times for a first aid kit. The room was not as nice as the photos; it seemed quite old. It was very noisy from the bar on Saturday night. The only positives were the location and the cleaning staff who were very nice.

Im a regular visitor to The Marmara Pera when visiting Istanbul, which is about 10 days every couple months. One thing noticed, during high season (summer) things get a bit out of hand which can be a bit disappointing. But overall, this is a very nice hotel to stay at with family or for business.
