GLK PREMIER Regency Suites & Spa - Special Class

The location of the hotel is amazing! The staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is also kid friendly and highly recommend to families. They have a great babysitting service and many thanks to Yildiz abla for looking after our 4yo while we went out to have a nice dinner. In brief, we enjoyed our stay at GLK Hotel heaps and thanks to all for welcoming us :)

Took my family to istanbul for the first time... we could not have been more pleased with our hotel experience. The location was absolutely outstanding, the service was first class, and the breakfast experience was genuine Turkish. Highly recommend!

This hotel is brilliantly located in the old town, everything is walkable and convenient. The staff were very helpful and always friendly, the breakfast was ok, simple but nice. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could do with some modernizing, but worked well for our family as the family suites can accommodate 4 people in two separate rooms.

Location is perfect. 7-5 mins walk from Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi palace. We were 2 families with young kids and it was so convenient to walk around these places. Tons of restaurants around hotel. Arasta Bazar is around the corner within 2 mins walk. Only reason for giving 4 stars is that room are little small specially if u have luggage pieces and breakfast menu is pretty much same everyday. Entire staff is very friendly, helpful and respectful.

We had an amazing stay here, albeit only one night. The staff were so hospitable and kind, making sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. The hotel location is superb if you want to explore the Old Town, with huge choice of places to eat and 5 mins walk to Hagia Sophie and the Blue Mosque. All in all I’d recommend GLK to anyone wanting a more homely, small family run hotel experience in Istanbul.

I stayed for 4-nights in the hotel with my family. The hotel was good and staff were very very very friendly. I booked a Premium Suite - 2 Bedrooms connected. Rooms were good in general but they need some maintenance. The bed in my room was comfortable and bathroom was very simple. So is the room for my kids. But I had few issues. I had an issue with the main door for the suite as it was open all the time, without needing a key. I requested it to be fixed a couple of times. I had another issue in the bathroom for kids room. The water diverter wasn't working in the shower so they only used it as a tub. But whenever I needed anything, staff were helping and very friendly. They were greeting us whenever we leave and come back again everyday. The night shift manager even gave us advise on what restuarants to visit in the evening and how to politely avoid dealing with shops pushing you to enter their places and buy stuff and gifts from them. Location is great. Aya Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque and Topkapi palace are all within 10 minutes walking distance. Many restuarants, cafes and shops are close by. If you are looking for a busy area with many activities around you, this is a very good location. In general, I had a good stay and recommend the place for small families.

You helped make my visit to Istanbul very memorable and beautiful!

The place was perfect for the demanding Marin County CA spiked travelers. Location - just perfect walking distance to all main landmarks. The street the hotel is on is happening festive and welcoming with lots of stores and restaurants. Was just perfect for us. Even the night life was booming the outside sounds were not noticeable. We had two double bedroom it was spacious and in cozy style. The staff is amazing. They make you feel like you are a family guest. Front desk, cleaning ladies and kitchen folks were all smiley courteous and warm. The breakfast was just perfect with variety and given the fact of the not large size of hotel, everything was cooked of scratch - very important for us. Meals were delicious and cappuccino foam drawings were artsy. I would like personally thank Emir, Huseyin Ayse Nacati and one more Ayse for making our vacation as cozy as it could be. Definitely coming back there when visiting Turkey! 11 star out of 10

I loved place great service and staff all over. The location itself is great because of how close it is to the main attractions in Istanbul. That being said there is no proper restaurants or supermarkets around. Most of the area is full of scam restaurants that will sell you the worst quality food for the highest price. Bear that in mind and sort out your food from elsewhere. Three members of my family got sick from a restaurant nearby. This is about the area and not the hotel the hotel itself was one of the best places I stayed in at Turkey.

The experience I had with GLK Regency was fantastic, especially the service, i must start with Hussain who is the most supportive service staff i have ever met in any hotel! He understands everything on the fly and is highly active, agile, courteous and kind. I also have to mention Hugo and Emir on the reception disk who were also very kind and supportive, they helped us select excellent tour options and introduced us to some of the best experiences we had in any travel, also Najaty from reception disk night shift was very kind and supportive, my little kids loved him the most, it seems he is a great father as well! The entire hotel staff are also very kind, friendly and supportive. The rooms are clean and breakfast is very good, with great variety. The only catch I have is that the rooms are a bit small, so could be an issue if you have a big family, also Sultanahmed area is very heavy on traffic as expected due to its central and strategic location so you need to be patient if you are moving around by car, i could pick this hotel any time due to the excellent hospitality and services the staff offeres!
