Amazing stay ... Service equivelent if not better than most 5 star hotels we stayed. Personal treatment was recieved by my family for any of the requests and we even felt part of the family during breakfast with being served and accomodated.

This is absolute gem of a hotel. It is within few min of walk to blue mosque and Ayasofia. The rooms are renovated, super quiet and clean, come with mini fridge and coffee / tea maker. Beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is simply out of the world. The staff was super helpful. We got 2 rooms for a family of 5. Highly recommended and will come back again.

Well what a little gem of a hotel this is…..a place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul, within walking distance to the Blue Mosque and the waterfront. The rooms have been recently renovated and tastefully decorated and are generously sized with a spacious bathroom adjoining the bedroom which has one of the most comfortable king size beds we have slept in. The on-site management team (Gima and Aisha -apologies if I have the spelling wrong) were outstanding hosts and nothing was too much for them and they treated their guests like family. They were generous with their time and advice for us as first time visitors to their city. The traditional Turkish breakfast was amazing. The team arranged our transfer to the airport and when on the morning of our departure roads around the hotel were closed, Gima again went above and beyond helping take our bags over 500 metres to get to the car. I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel and the management team and we highly recommend this hotel for all travellers.

It is a small boutique hotel with just rooms but it is new construction, very clean, sound proofing was great as we were able to sleep well even though it is on a crowded street. Breakfast was awesome as well. Very near to all major sightseeing destination (literally few minutes walk). Staff was super helpful as well. I traveled with my 3 kids and old parents (one on wheelchair) but we were all able to walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue mosque etc.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Royan Suites hotel. First of all, I will mention the awesome service we received from everyone working at the hotel. They made us all feel like we were part of their family. They overheard that my husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary on this trip, so when we came back to our room later that day - it was beautifully decorated, and there was fruit and a bottle of wine. We brought our parents with us, because not everyone was able to be at our wedding last year. My mother, having traveled separately and from a different country, was staying longer. Everyone at the hotel took care of her as if she was their mother - I will never forget this kindness! We had the most amazing breakfast every morning in the lobby (see photo). Hotel has recently been renovated, so everything was fresh, clean, and modern. Room was cleaned every day, and in the middle of the week we got fresh fruit in the room. Location of the hotel was better than I even imagined! We were 1-5 min walking distance to great restaurants, shops and convenience stores, 5-10 min walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Lots of the restaurants nearby have roof terraces, and so the views from them are stunning! If we come back to Istanbul, I will definitely stay here again. I cannot recommend this place and the people working at the hotel enough!

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for a family with a baby. First, there is no lift(elevator), so you should park the buggy in the lobby and you have to take back all baby stuffs everyday. Second, the hotel is located noisy area. There is a pub near the hotel and the music is so loud even 1am. It is explained as soundproofed room, but me and my wife could hear the music very clearly. I don't know why it is explained as soundproofed. So please note that not for you but your baby also could wake up in the night. I asked the hotel employee whether there is any solution for this, but he told me there is no way and it is general in that area.. Third, the room was not cleaned well. You should know that the room cleaning is only done in the mornig time. We went out the room around 2pm, and after we came back the hotel, we were suprised because the room was not cleaned. And there was no explanation about room cleaning time. Also, the floor was not cleaned well after the cleaning. There was an empty amenity bottle on the floor of the shower booth. So we asked to the house keeping lady to clean it next day, but she said it is not her job. I don't know who cleans the floor of the room(maybe no one). Overall, it should be less than 3 star hotel, and not 4 star quality... I had read may good reviews for this hotel and believed them.
