GLK PREMIER Acropol Suites & Spa - Special Class

Fantastic, clean, quiet hotel in the heart of the must see attractions, perfect for first visit to Istanbul! Great restaurants, 24/7 market a few steps away. From the moment my two friends and I arrived, exhausted after our long journey, Kenan at the front desk made us feel safe, relaxed, and welcome. He greeted us with a latte and cookies, stored our luggage for the day, and gave us directions to our tour at Topkapi Palace a few blocks away. Kenan later used WhatsApp to let us know he had secured three masseuses for a last minute afternoon spa treatment on the lower floor of the hotel. They have a lovely sauna, a Turkish bath, and big fluffy robes! Kenan told our taxi driver exactly where to take us for our Culinary Backstreets foodie walking tour and also arranged an all day tour for us to see the Lost City of Troy with only one half day's notice. As we were all leaving Istanbul at different times, Kenan arranged our rides to the airport and his taxi driver always showed up on time at 5am. I have been to Istanbul before, but it was the first time for my two friends. Both felt very safe and welcome in a new city and this was in a large part because Kenan was available to help us, no matter what we needed. Though I am a travel writer (Frommer's 2014 San Francisco), Kenan and staff had no idea of this. They simply treat everyone like family. After a long day of sightseeing, GLK Acropol is a wonderful place to come home to. I highly recommend this place. 10 stars 🌟

Great small hotel with great staff perfect for couples or small family. It was a bit difficult to manage with a toddler and a family of 5 with small hallways and spaces.

We were a family of 4 and they accommodated us in a nice and cosy family room. Very helpful and courteous staff. Location is great for accessing the various historical sites like Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The tram station is also close by. Breakfast was decent. There are many places to eat nearby. We had some of our clothes washed at a reasonable price. There is some loud music that plays at night in the nearby restaurants but the hotel can’t do much about it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the hotel for their hospitality.

Clean, safe and well-managed hotel. Located in the "Old City" of Istanbul (Sultanahmet), the hotel is just minutes away by foot from Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the Bosphorus Straight. Room was well-maintained with bath (including the jacuzzi bathtub). Air conditioning temp could be set by guests in the room. Breakfast hours were convenient and the array of items on the breakfast buffet was impressive. Staff was warm and accommodating, making us feel immediately welcome. Free sauna and steam bath within the premises. In the opinion of my family, there were no downsides to this hotel. Would certainly stay again.

Wow is the word for the world class service that Kenan, Aplle (if I spelled his name correctly 🙂), Mourad, Musthafa, kitchen staff and housekeeping provided during our stay at the hotel. They were more like family to my wife and I. I would come back to the hotel tired and would be offered a hot cup of tea on request eventough the restaurant and kitchen was closed. The view was fantastic from the executive suit facing the hagia sofia mosque. I will always select this hotel over any other in Istanbul God willing on my next visit to this beautiful country. It’s not the hotel that makes the difference, it is always the people who do. I hope the management and owners take care and reward their most valuable asset ……their staff. Good location. Everything is within walking distance. A bit too noisy but not too bad. Helpful and friendly staff. Jr suite was the perfect size for my family.

The customer service was phenomenal! Kenan, Abo and the team are so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Power shower and jacuzzi were fab. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with hot items too. Location is ideal for families and tourists - Topkapi Palace is 3 mins away, Aya Sofya mosque is 5 mins. Supermarket across the road from the hotel, with many restaurants. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Outstanding service, great location, good breakfast! We really liked the sauna and Turkish bath at night. We had a family suite, which was two rooms connected by an outer door. It was perfect for our family of 5.
