ibis Singapore On Bencoolen (SG Clean)

There were three of us in a family room. Although the beds were comfortable the space was cramped. Everything else was great.

We stayed at this Ibis for 2 nights while in Singapore due the cost. Hotels in Singapore are so crazy expensive. This place was much less but I wouldn’t say cheap. I’ve never paid this much for an Ibis room before and I’ve stayed in many of them all over. We didn’t do the breakfast- it wasn’t included in the price but all the other Ibis we’ve stayed at are included. Check in took forever. Check out was fast. Couldn’t get early check in but got 1 hour later for checkout. They say it’s a hundred extra for late checkout which is crazy but they didn’t charge us. The location is awesome! Hawker stall behind the hotel has amazing cheap food( try the chicken curry!) 711 next door. About 500 meters walking to the metro which is super easy to use. Grabs here are very expensive. The room was clean and the beds are ok. Twin beds are super small, for children not American size adults. Shower was very nice and hot. AC worked well. Rooms are tiny. View was not good. No pool. No frills. It’s fine for a budget but still over two hundred a nigh. Ibis is usually like fifty a night. Anyways, I would stay here again but if I had a better budget, I would go elsewhere for sure.

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is good and the service is very good too. We booked 2 rooms and requested to be together, however, we ended up on different floors which wasn’t ideal as we were traveling with kids. Other than that I would stay again.
