Carlton Hotel Singapore (SG Clean)

Too many kids were loitering at the lobby and the swimming pool. Couldn’t get a chance to visit the pool because it is over crowded with kids. Disappointed with the crowd management.

After two visits, the Carlton seems like home. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet, although some families with kids did make a racket in the hall. We had a premium room with the amazing bath/shower area. Really nice after living with ridiculous American eco-showers designed for people who like being dirty. Beautiful view of the Marina Bay Sands from the 16th floor. The hotel is close to buses and the MRT. Raffles City is across the street, and it has a mall and a lot of restaurants, as well as two grocery stores. You should really try to get away from this expensive area when you eat, but when you aren't worried about money, you will find the nearby restaurants convenient. Din Tai Fung has great dim sum, but the one at Suntec is much easier to get into. Bugis (shopping and the Albert Food Centre) is a reasonable walk away, as is Suntec City. Fort Canning park is nearby. Unlike American parks, it's not full of criminals waiting to rob you or kill you. The Carlton will be our default hotel for future visits.

I was disappointed because I had booked twin beds as I was traveling with my granddaughter, they were not available. Sharing a bed with my grandchild who is an adult was not a good experience

Hotel is within walkable distance to the nearest shopping mall and train. You'll be spoilt for food options nearby. The room was wonderful with city skyline views. Great place to stay especially with a baby. Will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here 1 night for a layover in transit to Bali. The hotel was recommended to me by a friend and it definitely did not stand up to its name. First the outlets in the room didn't work and it took hours for someone to come and fix them. When they finally came they fixed it and i advised them i have a baby bottle sterilizer and they told me it was okay to plug it in. Never was told that i never a transformer to plug it in to the outlet by maintenance. I ended up having to call again because the outlets once again were not working and my phone was dying and i had a very early flight. They sent maintenance there again and this time my entire baby bottle sterilizer fuse blew out because of the faulty outlet and maintenance not advising me that there are two different types of outlets in the room regular and high voltage. I'm out of a baby bottle sterilizer my entire remainder of my trip. They refunded me for the actual equipment and told me they will need to take it as well since they are refunding me for it. I gave it to them and that's pretty much all that was done. I did not have a restful night at all since they called me all hours of the night trying to dispute responsibility for damage to my baby item. They finally accepted fault and was very condescending to me. This placed a very bad taste in my mouth about this brand and i surely will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone. Aside from this issue my room was not even properly cleaned i was too frustrated about my

Carlton Hotel has always been our preferred hotel due to its location however this trip service was very disappointing. We've stayed many times over the last 10 years and this trip, the customer service which has always been high, was lacking. We were travelling with our baby for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I notified the hotel in advance of both and was advised they would have a cot and a special treat to celebrate. On arrival, we were a little early so the room wasnt ready, which I appreciate was before checkin time. We came back at check in time and was advised the room was still not ready and they wouldnt know when it would be, it would be up to house keeping. I again advised we were travelling with a 6 month old and we needed to feed and change her. The lack of customer service was quite disappointing. There was no empathy whatsoever. When we got to our room there was no cot, and they forgot about the special celebration. I do want to highlight that your taxi/porter team are exceptional (always have been) but your check in desk needs improvement. For the price we paid, we will be looking to book across the road for our next trip.

pleasant experience of this stay with my kids - spacious, clean with good location. it's only 300m walk from the City Hall station. the staff are helpful and kind.

The property is in an excellent location. The room in the premium wing was nice and big and well lit. The staff at the hotel particularly the concierge desk were excellent. The only issues, broken toilet, flickering light in our kids room and strange noise which sounds like the elevator.

Excellent service staff were very helpful polite and accommodating Everyone in my family had an enjoyable stay

Hope to stay again with family.
