Lives up to it’s name as a 5-star hotel. I loved the way to access one’s floor level in the lift. It made me feel safe. Staffs were very professional and accomodating especially Aslam at the Foyer. Big thank you at the reception who made us check-in early and upgraded us to junior suite. Hotel is conveniently located to shops and diners. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Only downside, I could here the noise outside our door when the cleaners are around. Otherwise, hotel is excellent.

We stayed at Grand Park City Hall shortly after lunar new year. The rooms are nice enough, and the hotel location is good. However, I’m not sure if it was the post CNY hangover, but the hotel and service were completely lacking. For example, we booked two connecting rooms, which should have been two double beds and a king bed. Instead we were “upgraded” to a family suite, which was just two rooms with two king beds, one of which had a pull-out bed. When we asked for blankets for the pull-out bed, the hotel told us they had no more blankets?!? We also asked them if we could remove the kids tent which is for children of about 3 years in the kids room as it took up a ton of space, again the answer was no. Calls to house keeping were not answered. From the pool, you are supposed to be able to order food and drinks - again no one answered the phone on multiple tries, so you had to go down to the lobby bar if you wanted a drink by the pool. When I negatively reviewed my checkin on hotels.com, there was no follow up from the hotel. Again it may have been a one-off because of CNY celebrations, but we won’t be back.

Only after a few hours, Thay gave us, that feeling, that the hotel is just for us. Everything in the hotel is impeccable, from staff to cleanliness, restaurants, and there wasn’t nothing to hard to make for your guest. We really enjoyed, as at our home, and staff, like a part of our family.

The overall concept of the property is unclear. The division between concierge on lower ground floor and reception on 3rd was very confusing. Rooms are small and very basic, breakfast was awful, limited options, breakfast staff were rude and super slow (perhaps understaffed), receptionists were rather detached almost unhappy to be there but most of all, huge issue in this property is the noise!!! From the room you can hear everything from corridors and between rooms too. We had a baby screaming for hours and we barely slept unfortunately. Most certainly not a 5a*, barely a 3*star plus. Gym was extremely basic but pool on terrace was ok. Would not stay here again. Overpriced and for same money you can stay on many other property nearby which are 100 times better in service and offering.

I found Grand Park City Hall to be just as advertised -- understated luxury in the heart of downtown. There's only one complaint I have: The sound proofing in the room is non-existent.
I could hear clearly anyone walking past in the corridor, not to mention the screams of two children that were staying (I believe) four doors away. At night, I was also woken up by some excited chatter from fellow guests returning to their rooms after a night out. It got so bad that I was wondering if I even closed my room door.
This is a shocking let down given the aesthetics of the room, which showed a superior level of design. I wonder why the hotel couldn't have spent just a little more on sturdier room doors that would no doubt go a long way to reducing the noise pollution that jarringly intruded, shattering all semblence of peace and serenity the room's design tried so hard to evoke.
This is such a sore point, and hopefully the management would take steps to address this glaring but completely rectifiable issue.

The room was big, very cozy to stay with child. The cleaning was good, staffs were very kind. The vanue was also very close to a mall, clark quay and national museum. The only problem was that the shower booth overflowed with water. Overall, it was very great experience to stay here and the best hotel in SG compared the previous hotels where I had been to.
