the suite was a good enough size for a family of 5 with 2 roll aways, beautiful panoramic views, The frront desk staff and the doorman was accomodating and cool but the manager Randynis in the wrknh business, hospitality is not his forte. He seems like an ok person but doesnt understanrd how to deal with clients very well. Overall it was a great stay and will bokm agaim.

We had a nice time at the Washington. Check-in was easy and our King room on the 10th floor had a decent view out the back of the property. The room wasn't sparkling clean - it was a bit dusty - but it wasn't a disaster. The toilet handle was loose and some of the lights didn't work, but again, it wasn't a big deal. The bed was very comfortable, like a marshmallow, and they brought up a crib for our baby, free of charge. The air conditioning was good and efficient and the room was pretty big for the price compared to other hotels. The staff were wonderful and we got free drinks for the bar downstairs. The location was great for getting around and not being too close to Midtown (too busy).

Husband and I got a night out while parents watched the kids in Brooklyn. Easy check-in, great property, huge rooms for NYC hotel, great views (if you pay the extra $20 or so for a higher level floor, which I highly recommend), wonderful employees, occasionally loud neighbors but you can’t really control that and they weren’t that bad. Would definitely stay here again!

The biggest drawback - and, really, it's a deal-breaker in terms of staying at the Hotel Washington in NYC again - is that they don't store luggage. I was so surprised when they told me this, I thought I misheard them. Because EVERY hotel I have ever stayed at, from budget to expensive, has stored luggage. That Hotel Washington does not - nice as it otherwise is - means I can't recommend it. That policy alone cost us time and money. I had purchased parking for two days (no in/out privileges). On the morning following our arrival the previous day, I had to go get the car from parking, because we had no other alternative place to store our luggage until our intended departure time that evening. I was unable to find street parking anywhere in NYC that day, and after some lost time looking, I had to buy more parking for the day. We had planned to take the Staten Island Ferry and give the kids a nice look at the Statue Of Liberty, but that ride was one of the casualties of the lost time and lost logistics of having to leave our initial parking space early as we did. So, thumbs down on this hotel. A few light switches in our room didn't work, but none of that would have mattered but for the whole luggage storage issue.

Walls and windows were paper thing, I could have the conversation of the family in the room beside me like I was one of them.
Room overall was dirty, there was an explosion of what looked like coke or some other substance all over one of the walls.
The rooms and hotel are a lot more dated looking than the pictures make it seem. There are no lights in the room aside from the end table lights beside the bed.

The hotel is located right across from the new museum and memorial for 9/11. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. It's a little away from the hustle and bustle but a quick taxi or uber ride to the action with a much cheaper price tag.
I was upgraded to a a superior room, but keep in mind the W brand rooms are typically more intimate and not designed for groups or families. I love that they exclusively carry the 'bliss' line because when I stay I don't have to worry about packing bulky toiletries.
I don't typically stay in this part of town but did so because my daughter was in the area for the week. Definitely worth the stay

It was not a good experience. We asked for an early check-in, but the hotel didn’t even reply. The shower drainage was clogged; we had to call the plumber. There werent any cups in the room; we had to ask for paper cups. There was no soap bar in the bathroom. We heard loud laughing and chatting noise coming from employees in the hallway which woke up the family in the morning. Overpriced with poor service.
