It was a great location to walking each place the family wanted to go. They got in 8 to 10 miles each day! It was a great place to celebrate a 10th birthday.

This hotel was like hitting the jackpot! It was small but convenient to everything. Walking distance to grand central station, Bryant park, Times Square, broadway, the public library, and shopping. There is no food on property but that is clearly detailed on their website. Take advantage of the valet service as traffic is bonkers. Pedro, the amazing afternoon and evening valet, was like family. He helped us navigate the city and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our stay. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. We stayed on the 25th floor with a great view of the city,

Really awesome location. Central. Helpful staff. Hate it when hotel rooms don’t have a small refrigerator (esp when travelling with kids) as well as a hotel bar/snacks for sale in lobby.

Amazing experience. Right next to Bryant park and the huge library. My three kids (two teens and one 11 year old) and I stayed in a two queen room overlooking other buildings on the top floor. It was very quiet and clean. The rooms are smaller compared to an average hotel but we expected this since it’s common in NYC. The lobby is also small however we were rarely there. They offer free luggage storage and hot cocoa/coffee. We took the train from Newark to nearby and walked to the hotel. It was super easy and I never felt unsafe. The area is safe in general I felt. I would definitely stay again.

Booked a room for 4 people and received confirmation from website and Marriot. When we arrived, the room was unavailable and we had 1 bed for first night. Sleeping on a floor with the extra bkanket hotel offered was not a great start to family weekend in the city! Received a lackluster apology and promised points that never came, they refused refund and scolded me for booking through a third party site. Not what I expected from a brand name chain, I do not plan on using Marriot hotels again. It is not right for an international company with thousands of locations to confirm a booking and take payment, and then when something went wrong takr no action to remedy the situation.

There were long lines at the coffee and tea station but we were so grateful to have hot chocolate for the kids and coffee for us on those cold winter NYC days!
