ibis Styles Dubai Airport Hotel

When I arrived the hotel was full booked :( I was helped to another hotel but had to pay extra money to receive beds for all of our family. Since it was in the middle of the night, 04:00, we arrived we did not have much alternative than to pay. Worst handled ever……

We were a let down by the property, and will find an alternative in the future. - We booked a king bed, but we were given a double bed. - We asked for a cot for our child (weeks ahead of staying), but on arrival it wasn't available. The impact of this.. we booked the hotel to get some rest during a stop over in Dubai. When we arrived the staff were not prepared for our arrival, had to hunt for our booking and then had to hunt for a room. Because they didn't have a cot our child couldn't sleep safely, and because they didn't give us the king bed we booked and paid for there wasn't enough room for both of us and the child to sleep safely. The food was extremely sub standard and over priced. So in the end we had no sleep and bad / stale food.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast buffet delightful (included in my stay), and my room was quite adequate! Free hotel shuttle from Terminal 1/3 from the airport, and the Metro just an 8 minute walk away. The best part is that the menzanine hosts a nice pool area and outdoor drinks/food service. Plus, it's kid-friendly! I will only stay here from now on--truly the best bang for your buck! Very enjoyable stay.
