Great for large and extended families

Great stay with the family - staff were on hand whenever we needed them, property was very clean. Breakfast options were great.

This hotel could have been easily worthy of a 5 star review. However I have to rate it 1 star mainly because of the horrible sewage smell which never left the bathroom during my stay. There was no adequate ventilation and the hotel cleaners tired to mask this smell with air freshener, this didn't help. The sewage smell was so strong that if you left the bathroom door open it would come into the bedroom. I read other reviewers who have complained of the same problem and assumed this issue would have been resolved before my stay. It is clearly a maintenance issue that and this room should have been made unavailable to guests while the problem can be fixed. Instead Hilton prefer to profit from my misery. I'm really disappointed that my family and I were allocated the room with the smelly bathroom. It seems that this problem is reported by reviewers who are of South Asian origin, so I suspect that the management allocate these defective room/s leaving the best for Westerners and Arabs. Words cannot express the annoyance and frustration when you profiled like this and are forced to hold your breath every time you use the bathroom, it is completely unacceptable. The smell was soo bad that I had to use my own deodorant in the air. Management told me there were no other rooms I could be allocated to as it was busy period. I have been to other cheaper hotels in Dubai and never had this problem. This will be the last booking I make with Hilton ever.
